Pokoje Gościnne Wiślna

Location was excellent, very accessible to the square and many attractions.

The spiral stairs took some navigation, best to watch out on descent.

A very short walk to the old city center and easy access to public transportation to anywhere in the city. Clean, spacious, comfortable room. Dark curtains that make it easy to sleep. Window in my room faced a narrow back street so pretty quiet. Good communication with the host.

There are lots of steps (I counted 52) which was fine for me, but be aware if this is an issue for you.

The room was clean and well organised. The kitchen looked clean and overall the nice, modern looking aesthetic was definitely a plus. Furthermore the room bein so close to the center of Krakow meant that there was no real going outside of the room without seeing the main square of Krakow. Another thing that was great was that the staff was kind and accomodating. We had one more Person over, than originally planned and did (apparently) damage the wall next to the bathroom a bit. (The handle hit the wall and it gave in). But both of these things were settled with the owners on site and in a respectful manner.

The biggest drawback was probably the access. The room C2 (where we got located) was hard to find and we had to walk up some rusty stairs. I am aware that the conditions outside of the appartment are likely outside the hands of the staff, a heads up would have been nice as well as a bit more clarity that the rooms were in fact accessible via the ladder, because we struggled to find out where the room ended up being.

Excellent location, pleasant room, comfortable bed and bedding, felt very safe.

Misleading 24/7 front desk as there wasn't a front desk and I never met another person during my 5-day stay (retrieved keys from lock box); room is down a dark alley and up 3 flights of quite old stairs which was concerning as I arrived after dark alone. However, it is a very safe place and city. Two of my messages to the host went unanswered.
