TRS Turquesa Hotel - Adults Only - All Inclusive

Breakfast was good, activities were plentiful, spa was nice. Pool was nice and the drinks kept coming.

Seaweed / sargassum on the beach, which the resort can't control (August stay.) Older hotel so things aren't in tip-top shape. The food was hit and miss, things not cooked to specifications. Spa needs to rotate music (it was the same song on loop the entire time.)

The pool area by block 53 was super quiet, never had to rush to get a sunbed. Members of staff walk around and bring you your drinks etc. We used the main pool once, but found it was quite loud with Americans trying to out do each other on volume. We didn’t get asked to have a tour by the timeshare people which was good. The butler service was nice but absolutely not essential. Food: Breakfast buffet was really good at Capricho, it was much better than Helios. Lunch à la carta at Helios was hit and miss - we had the 2 paellas which were delicious but the pasta dishes weren’t great. Helios service was pretty slow, we ordered drinks that never came. Dinner was delicious, we tried La Boheme, Bamboo, Kusko, Tentazione & La Paisana. The room was fine, no complaints, I do see why people say they need modernising but you aren’t in it for long each day. Air con works well & the shower was hot.

The room service is very inconsistent, despite hanging our towels up to show we would use them again, we were often given new ones. Sometimes flannels were replaced & other times not. It sometimes took until after lunch for the room to be cleaned most days. We were also approached by the maid on our last night, she knocked on the door and claimed to have cleaned our room twice each day (even though we’re sure she hadn’t) & wouldn’t leave until we gave her a tip. Food was pretty decent, there’s so much variety. However with that variety are slightly different standards. Nothing was terrible. Service in all restaurants was pretty slow however once they cleared your main plate they wanted to know what you wanted for dessert immediately & it was bought very quickly. Some of the plugs in the room didn’t work, which was just inconvenient & WiFi was terrible in the evenings - couldn’t connect to it. We complained several times & it was looked at each time but hardly improved. A big annoyance was getting a golf cart back to TRS from the sports bar/hotel near. There’s no queue/organisation as per where you need to go. We waited over 20 minutes for a buggy to take us back, several empty ones just drove right past.

food on buffet was not safe and healty because fly were any where. a lot of sargazo on the beach and smell realy bad.

Gym and breakfast were so nice

The room smelled very bad, the linens were all damp and wet, and it was very uncomfortable.
