St. Maarten at Silver Shells 705 Professionally Managed by Newman-Dailey This seventh story Gulf front condo at Silver Shells in Destin is simply spectacular! From the 20 foot wide beachfront balcony to the gorgeous interior design, it leaves nothing to be desired. A tour of the three bedrooms in tropical shades blended with pitch-perfect décor and designer linens will leave you saying ‘WOW’! Plus, the master suite comes complete with a oversized bathtub and walk-in shower in its private bathroom making it a great place to unwind. Moreover, entertaining family and friends will be pure delight in this Destin, FL condo! The granite and stainless steel kitchen is completely open to the dining area and the living room which features a very large flat screen TV – all of which looks out over the expansive Gulf of Mexico. A ride down the private entry elevator to the lobby level will take you to even more ‘wowing’ experiences. Silver Shells is one of Destin’s premier resorts offering lots of extras. Amenities include several pools and hot tubs with waterfall features and poolside cabanas and the famous Ruth‘s Chris steakhouse featuring 3 bars and live music.. All of this luxury is wrapped in lush tropical foliage with green lawns and shady arbors throughout. The best part about a vacation at Silver Shells though has got to be the location – to the north and within walking distance are shops, Big Kahuna’s Waterpark, and a restaurant to suit every taste bud, and to the south lies the soft white beaches and emerald water of the Gulf of Mexico. We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students.

When we walked into the condo the view was the first thing we saw and that was spectacular. The condo was also amazing. We had 6 adults and 2 children, 18 mo. and 4. The beds were comfortable and there was enough furniture for all of us to sit at the same time.
In-unit washer and dryer were very helpful. Beach access was close and easy.
With our condo we did receive one free activity per day for one person through Explorie. We did use this for golf but apparently the parasailing we booked didn't qualify. We thought that all the activities listed were part of the 1 free per day program, so if you take advantage of this offer make sure the activity actually says, "1st one free." For our purposes, we would rather have had the option to reserve chairs each day. Chair rental, available by 3rd party, was $60 per day for one set of chairs and an umbrella.
Check in was a bit confusing. We were supposed to use the service elevator to go to our room and use the door code. We were actually given access early, @1:00 instead of having to wait til 4 but finding the correct elevator to access the room was a bit tricky. We had to call the management company to have them help us locate it. Some more direction in the information would have been helpful.
The information I was sent indicated the private elevator could only hold 400 lbs. but the signage in the elevator indicated 2500 lbs.
Other than the check in confusion, we had a great stay in an amazing condo.

A wonderful week long stay! We throughly enjoyed the amenities, location of the property, ease of check in, and cleanliness of condo. We will be back!

We have stayed in this unit before and had a fabulous experience, however, this trip had a few hiccups. We had key fobs that didn’t work leaving family members without a way to get in at numerous times during the trip. In order to get them replaced, we had to schedule an appointment due to the holiday week which we didn’t have time for. The unit got extremely warm later in the day which took a good amount of time to cool down. And for some reason our fridge froze pretty much all our food. We did not adjust any settings! We also didn’t enjoy sitting on our porch every morning and smelling weed but I know the property manager of our unit had no control over that! Overall the unit itself is great and understand that things happen….
