Best Guest house in Lin

If you want to feel at home this is the right place. The family will take care of you and the guests house is immaculate. The location is right on the lake with a patio over the lake. You could not ask for more.

Perfect hosts, who were always available. Food was excellent. We would recommend this location to everyone.

Limited parking space. Bed was a bit less comfortable, but we are used to perfect bedding at home, so not an issue for us.

We loved, loved, loved this guesthouse

The location is fantastic, with a stunning view of the lake. We were given a very friendly welcome and nothing seemed like too much trouble for the staff. You can swim directly from the garden, where you can also eat meals. People came from other guesthouses for the restaurant. The menu is simple and perfect: fish from the lake or chicken. We decided to stay an extra night and were rewarded with a room with a view of the lake. We would love to return.

Air conditioning would have been nice as it gets pretty hot in August!

Quaint little fishing village on Lake Ohrid, the guesthouse had lake frontage. Compact but comfortable room with ensuite.

A beautiful and relaxing place

Daniela and her husband were so kind and welcoming. Nothing was any trouble for them. The food was delicious, especially the fish. The vegetables were grown locally in their own garden, and they had the best fries ever. The patio overlooking the lake quickly became a favorite spot for dining and reading, and watching the beautiful sunset in the evening. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless. We will definitely come back here another time.

Stunning

The guest house is in an excellent location right on the lakeside. We booked parking ahead but there are only two spaces after which parking was in the church opposite. We were in one of the two budget rooms which are on the top floor with excellent views of the lake. The bathroom was wet room style but drained well and dried quickly. There is no air con but a fan was provided. The restaurant offers grilled food including trout which was caught by the hosts husband so not farmed. We were booked for 4 nights and on the last night Daniella our host cooked us a traditional Albanian dish for trout. There are other restaurants in Lin two either side of Erda and at the hotel Laza which has a more extensive menu including a selection of dishes which take 50 mins to cook but worth the wait. Swimming off the garden was easy with a ladder to get in and out of the lake. Plenty of comfortable chairs and lounges in the garden to rest and sunbathe. The breakfast was excellent, you were given fresh fruit, an omelette with tomato and cucumber, pancakes and bread with jam.

The Wi Fi was pretty poor on the top floor. Couldn't use my lap top at all and could just get a signal on my phone. Wi fi was fine on the ground floor and outside.

Entirely satisfied, totally recommend!

The location is perfect, right in the middle of the small village. Convenient parking, direct access to the lake (perfect for a swim!), super clean rooms and extremely kind hosts! Please, strongly consider having dinner at this place too. The fish and vegetables are delicious, home cooked with love. Their breakfast is also a treat in the morning. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature. Greatly appreciated our stay!

Lakeside location, small quaint village. Excellent food freshly caught fish from the lake and home-grown vegetables / fruit. Friendly helpful hosts. The owner offered to take us to Ohrid for a couple of hours, just to experience Macedonia for a very reasonable price. Which we accepteed.

The narrow streets of the village can be tricky for unconfident drivers or big cars. But hosts helped with parking on-site.

Perfect place to stay

Lovely and amazing host. The husband helped us with car parking. The dinner (we ordered there) was exceptional and the breakfast was delicious. Homemade vine was really tasty. Nice and clean room with beautiful views. With stairs to go to the lake.

Stopover in Lin on my bicycle tour

I stopped here on my way to Ohrid on my bicycle and it was the perfect place to stay as I arrived at the lake. The room had a beautiful view of the garden and lake and it was so nice and comfortable with everything I needed including a small desk to do some work. After a full day's cycling I was so happy to arrive here, highly recommended!

The hosts were very helpful for all of our requests. We even used the canoe in the lake, one of the best experiences ever. The room was very comfortable and with an amazing view! The food was delicious and they were so kind to help us with breakfast since we had a very early check-out. All in all, a very peaceful stay which we loved. Will definitely come back soon!

A really nice place

We stayed two nights and were very happy with Erda Lakeside. The room was comfortable, well isolated from noise and clean. We enjoyed our balcony overlooking the garden and the lake. The garden was very cozy and breakfast was amazing. The staff greeted us with big smiles every morning and was very helpful with giving us information about the area. It's a really genuine place and we would love to do another visit in the future.

It was like visiting some relevants from far away. We got a piece of selfmade cake when we arrived. Had always a little chat with the cute owners. They gave their best to make our stay very comfortable. Late night we felt a bit hungry and they served us a very nice dinner frehsly cooked just for us. Nice view at the lake.

Great Hospitality

Really lovely rooms that are comfortable and super clean. Plenty of hot water and fast wifi. I had a great balcony with a view of the sea. Tasty breakfast included, which you can take in your room, in the dining area, or on the deck right next to the water. Daniela and her family are genuine and sweet people. Terrific hospitality. You'll feel right at home!

Daniela and her family were so very kind and welcoming to us. We were out of season so there weren't many nearby restaurants so Daniela cooked us all an evening meal as well as breakfast the next morning. Her husband is a fisherman so the fish was super fresh

The village Lin is very beautiful but there is not so much to do especially for kids. You need to have a car and visit the beaches nearby
