Les Alouettes B&B

Lovely place to stay! It’s calm, peaceful, and very welcoming. Diane and Vic are such kind and lovely hosts. They are also very passionate about the history of the First World War, and it was really interesting to share conversations with them about it. The little flat is cosy, perfectly clean, and has a private bathroom. The breakfast is also very nice. And, of course, there is always a lovely cat ready to welcome you when you open your door—without demanding anything in return! 🐱❤️ A truly pleasant and relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

The host, Diane, was very welcoming, despite not knowing we we had booked. The room itself was super comfy with a fridge, kettle and separate bathroom. The location was perfect. It was in the heart of the Somme battlefields and shops and restaurants were within 10-15 minutes.

Heel rustige locatie in een dorp midden de velden, veel huisdieren maar dat is hier normaal. Er is parkeerplaats voor je auto. In de B&B is er zelfs een koelkastje, heel nuttig. Geen televisie maar dat is eigenlijk een pluspunt, je bent hier voor rust, ruimte en natuur. Verder zijn alle voorzieningen aanwezig.

Diane and Vic were the perfect hosts. The property is located in an area that for history buffs was on the Front Line of the action during The Great War. Diane and Vic also organise personal battlefield tours. They are both extremely knowledgeable on this subject. The property itself is absolutely lovely. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom modern and spacious. The breakfast Diane provided was scrumptious. Do stay here. I would highly recommend. You will be well looked after.
