Towels were a bit tired and not too fluffy

Perfect location for the Somme battlefield. Excellent, friendly staff. Breakfast and meals were very good.
Would have preferred more towels.

Superb location for visiting numerous war graves in the area. Restaurant food was very good and reasonably priced, e.g. 3 course meal with wine at 35 euros per head! Staff were really friendly & most spoke good English.
Just the presence of an ironing board would have been good as none in the hotel, just irons. So ensure you iron a shirt before travelling, if needed, or use a towel over the bedroom desk (their suggestion)! :-)

Good restaurant and breakfast. Beds very comfortable. Good location for onward travel .
Bathrooms look a little tatty but clean enough

Great locations to visit World War 1 cemeteries and monuments
The only thing I didn’t like was the bar prices, I thought €8 for a beer was a bit too much. I can see they have no competition locally but that’s no excuse for cashing in.

The staff were excellent. I left my Kindle in the room after we’d checked out. They notified us as soon as they found it but unfortunately we were too far towards our next destination. They agreed to keep it safe for us until we could collect it on our way home the following week.
The bedroom was in need of redecoration. There was only one double electric socket in the room and the sockets were too close together to use two UK adapters. So really we only had one socket, hich meant we weren’t able to properly recharge all phones, watches and power banks overnight.

This hotel is situated just meters from the Somme battlefields and is a perfect location for exploring the battlefields. The breakfast was simple but tasty, excellent juices and coffee. The room was ok, it was a basic simple hotel room with all you need for your stay. A great bonus was the amble free parking at the hotel.
The bathroom was a little plastic cubicle, it was simple but fulfilled the purpose, with a super strong shower.

Very quiet (apart from a thumping noise in the early morning), breakfast was good, evening meal was fine, parking was free and easy, hotel was in a great location for visiting Somme battlefield sites.
Evening meal menu was a bit limited, particularly for a child. I was woken in the morning by a low thumping noise, which sounded like pile driving, but perhaps was from one of the nearby factories. No tea and coffee making in the room. TV channel selection was limited.

The staff are very good.
We were able to leave the car in the car park while we went cycling for a few days, returning for a final night at a thehotel before returning to the uk.
the evening meal in the restaurant was not to the expected standard.

Location is fantastic for visiting The Somme battlefields. Most staff understand English. This location pays respect to the British with small display with WW1 artifacts and the carpets are of a Poppy design. ( Nice touch)
I didn't like the fact that two of the staff refused to serve Ice, lying by saying the machine was broke when it wasn't. It was 34oc. in day and still very warm at night. Dispensing ice should not be an issue, and certainly not at the discretion of a grumpy employee whether ice is issued or not. I spoke to the manager the next day and he assured me the ice machine wasn't broken and he would speak to staff. I can only trust that he did.

Clean room and bathroom, powerful shower. Bed very comfortable. Also very close to both Albert and WW1 memorials.
If I'm being really picky then tea and coffee facilities in the room.

good parking. quick and efficient check in. Accommodated arriving a day earlier with no issues. liked to pool table in reception even though we did not have time to use it. Just a little thing, but the shower doors open both ways which avoids all the fuss getting in and out and all the water over the floor.
nothing, it was ideally located, good value for money and importantly it was clean.

Excellently located for Somme battlefields.
Hot breakfast often was not renewed when finished.

Location to The Somme visit points, the hotel & local facilities together with the friendliness of the staff are the main reasons we like to return when visiting the region
Beds are a little small for an ‘average’ sized couple sharing which can impact on sleep. Bar prices can be a little costly compared to the local bars & restaurants but doesn’t dampen the visit.

The location was good. Easy access to the town of Albert and surrounding WW1 sites.
The restaurant was closed the night we stayed. Not really a problem as there are numerous eating places within 5 min walk. Just a bit inconvenient as we hadn't expected to go out again once we arrived.

Everything was fine.

Ideally located for visiting the former WW1 battlefields.
No channels in English (BBC World News) for example on the tv’s in the room. Given the amount of English using this hotel it was quite surprising.

Accommodation, rooms, facilities etc were all very good. No complaints from us - a party of 12.
It was a shame that the bar closed at 10.30pm but I guess early season it is difficult to guage how much business there would be. We certainly would have spent more time and money in the bar.
