This property is located just a few minutes from Albert, right in the middle of the Somme region - ideal for those wanting to explore the history of the area, but also a useful 1hr45 from Calais by motorway. The host met us on arrival and was very welcoming, personally showing us up to the room and ensuring we had all we needed. She also advised as to which eateries were open that evening (a Monday so only two were open in Albert). The room itself was beautifully decorated and furnished in a typical French style with good tea and coffee facilities and a fan (it was in the roof space so was a little warm in the heatwave). There was a plate of sweet treats awaiting us in the room and even ear plugs should you require them! The bathroom was equally well furnished and equipped. In the morning our pre-ordered breakfast was laid out on our own lavish table in the beautiful dining room and was of very high quality and the host was very attentive. The parking was in the private courtyard and therefore off-street and fairly secure, but the owner allowed us to park our motorcycle in the barn overnight which was appreciated. This stay was a highlight of our 24-day tour of Europe. Superb!

Beautiful property Exceptional a golden gem, Muriel was an exceptional host and gave us a very warm welcome.
The room was great & the bed was very comfortable.
The property is clean and tidy and beautifully decorated.
Beautiful Courtyard and seating area
Great breakfast plenty and good variety
Property was easy to find lovely rural setting.

The room was absolutely huge. The facilities are brilliant. The staff are welcoming and very friendly. The breakfast is made to order and was lovely. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again. A short taxi ride/ drive from the centre of Albert
