Convenient for the town center.
Breakfast was a very basic continental. Located on main road with on road parking although free town center parking not far away. Room was noisy but not from road traffic from some internal source.

The room was dated, but the bed was comfy and the place felt clean. The en-suite was miniscule and one has to be a contortionist to use the shower, but the owner(?) was very pleasant and helpful, and went out of his way to help. A decent breakfast too. It's very handy for the centre of town and, once the traffic had died down, surprisingly quiet.

The hotel was close to the main square in Albert and our host Richard welcomed us warmly. Our room had been redecorated and was clean and generally comfortable. Wifi was fine. Breakfast was adequate. Storing bikes was well managed and appreciated.
We could only plug in devices by unplugging other items. Hotel is starting to show its age. Restaurant on site didn't seem to be open. Noise from other rooms was a bit of an issue, especially the bed above.

Everything else. Not clean, food was poor , no English spoken owner wouldn't even try too communicate. The whole place needs a total refresh. Awful probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stopped in. Definitely wouldn't go back

Hotel was close to the centre, we were lucky to be able to park outside the door. Not aware of parking situation when street parking is full. Breakfast was good. Fresh bread, croissants and usual continental breakfast items.
Bathroom in room 1 was in need of an overhaul. Mildew around the bath.

Breakfast was excellent!
Lots of choice
No lift - didn’t see a warning re this when booking- no help available to get luggage up stairs
Bar not open - even for soft drinks
Rubber/ plastic cover to mattress - far too hot! Bottom sheet rough - more like towelling
Bathroom window would not open
Cockroach running across floor early morning

Breakfast was perfectly adequate. Good selection
Beds in Room 2 were not comfortable. Toilet area needed cleaning as it smelled.

The bed was comfortable
I speak French but the staff speak absolutely no English which other guests found strange. Bathrooms in an old buildings are obviously a second thought.

They were very helpful when we locked our keys in the Campervan, offering lots of assistance and phone numbers etc at late notice...Breakfast was really good and reasonably priced!
Adequate room, quaint, but had a fridge and coffee facilities.

Great traditional hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room and comfy bed. Car parking available outside or in the side streets. Great location for visiting Thiepval monument and battlefield sites and cemeteries.

Clean and tidy room.
The owner looked after me and was really friendly.
Breakfast was fantastic. Fresh baguettes and croissants with coffee was exceptional.
Coffee machine in my room wasn’t working. Not a big point but one none the less.

The Hotel is in an excellent central location in Albert we have stayed here before and since our last stay the restaurant has been replaced with a pool table so I’m assuming only bed and breakfast available now. The hotel is in need of updating but good enough for a night stop over. Host is lovely but speaks very little English.
Bathroom is rather tired and the hotel generally needs updating

revisited this property (prev stayed in 2017) it’s a lovely quirky hotel, sadly as a result of Covid the restaurant had closed but a brilliant games room was in its place. although the staff don’t speak English they are very helpful & polite.
it’s a little tired but post Covid that’s to be expected, many businesses have struggled
