The Crown Lodges

The location, the layout, the amenities. Parking and the quietness. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was fresh and you had everything you needed, including an iron, kettle and a fridge.

The bed was far too soft and bouncy. The front door had a section you could see right in- a tiny little curtain or some film on the glass to block the sunlight and beady eyes would be great. There was another door that only had a small curtain covering the glass (clear large pane of glass) but light was still let in. I would bring an eye mask in the spring/summer months

Was there to celebrate a wedding reception

Clean fresh and airy, nice linen and towels, feather duvet and pillows a bonus. Only thing missing was a small table or dressing table to sit at. Small fridge in the lodge was a nice touch

The staff were friendly, the pub was very nice with good food and friendly atmosphere, clean.. Comfy bed

The room has alot of cobwebs in low and high parts of the ceiling. The room smelt of drains. The floor flooded due to inadequate shower screen...also saturated with moisture due to inadequate ventilation..leaving he bathroom a totally wet mess to deal with for a long period of time...couldn't go to the toilet without having shoes on.. Was a tiny space dispite marketing pictures ,looking large and spacious, totally mis sold! There was a disabled ramp at door way and also a disabled seat in the bathroom that could have been removed as , I didn't state i was disabled..I wouldn't stay there again
