Fantail Bush Chalet and Hot Tub

We had such a wonderful stay! We loved the privacy and the beautiful bush surroundings, which made it feel so peaceful and relaxing. Sitting in the spa under the stars was definitely a highlight. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay again.

The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the pillows were a little flat

We were absolutely delighted with our stay. Everything was beautifully prepared — spotlessly clean, warm, and incredibly cosy, surrounded by peaceful native bush. The chalet was perfectly equipped and thoughtfully designed — truly, everything you could wish for was there. So much care was taken with even the smallest details: soft lighting, music, plush bathrobes, cosy blankets, and lovely scented oils, which created a very relaxing atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, which made us feel instantly at home. In the morning, a delicious breakfast awaited us — freshly baked bread, eggs from their own chickens, milk, cereals, fresh fruit and more. Such a treat! We had a wonderful, restful stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and relaxation.

I don't complain about anything.

Pretty much exactly as advertised and very pretty - nice little location and lovely tranquil bush setting. Very peaceful and private. The spa pool is a nice addition and having the local cat come and say hello was a real treat. Waking up to the sun coming through the trees and the birds chirping adds a fantastic tranquility to the place.

There were a few small details that make a big difference to a stay like this, the main issue being problems with the hot water. The batteries that ignite the pilot flame were at the end of their life and as a huge part of the amenities these should really have been in good shape. Having to go outside to try and get the boiler going whenever we needed hot water wasn't too fun. On the subject of batteries, given there are no cooking/ignition sources allowed, the abundance of lights (battery operated candles etc) was great - except out of the 8 lights we found, only one worked/had batteries. A small thing but for our ten year wedding anniversary, a bit of ambience would have been nice. The mattress wasn't particularly comfortable as the limited space means people clearly favor sitting on one side of the bed, making for a lopsided sleep where the springs are too soft on one side.

The spa was amazing! And the place in general is really nice. And they served as nice breakfast too.

I wish there’s a toilet door. :)
