About this house rental
Our address is 3429 State Route 125 Shamokin, PA 17872. As avid ATV riders and Jeep enthusiasts we saw a need for lodging near the Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area (AOAA). We also wanted to specifically include persons with disabilities. Catering to those who use wheelchairs with accessible ramps and also a roll in shower. Come visit our large Victorian home which is nested in the mountains of the coal region. Located a mile down the road from the AOAA. In our spacious rooms we have queen sized beds as well as two rooms with bunk beds. Every bedroom comes with fire tv and free Wi-Fi. Our house has a large kitchen with all utensils and two big living rooms with plenty of comfy seating. Do you need to wash your clothes? We have that covered too along with a washer and dryer here for your convenience. Rest assured your machines are safe. You can keep them locked up in the large garage for the night. Outside our property is equipped with plenty of cameras keeping watch over the garage and house. At the end of a long day of hard riding relax by the fire pits and enjoy some of the evening views across the valley. We are also just miles from Knoebels (14 miles), The Bloomsburg Fair (24 miles), and Hershey Park (57 miles about an hour away). They are just a few of the local attractions. Hope to see you soon.

Property was great for family comjng from several directions get together so we could play catch-up. Very comfortable. Appreciated the many ammenities available to us.The only negative were the bathrooms. Even after using squeegy floor quite slippery. Handicap issue. If using wheel chair it would have been OK however a bench would have been appreciated for those of us using a cane. Cane slips. Pictures of property had bench in shower.Bottom line however was it was a pleasant trip.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Victorian farmhouse in Shamokin. It was a great location for connecting with our families and visiting Knoebels Amusement Resort. When I wanted to report a dripping shower head ( just for fyi) the owner was friendly and responsive. The house was well-stocked with necessities. We wondered if the window air conditioners would be adequate but there are also multiple pencil fans and we were quite comfortable. It was a great week.

The house was adequate…. It was big enough for some extended family and clean and comfortable BUT it was an old house that needs some attention here and there like weird showers, doors that don’t shut properly and a steep uneven driveway. It’s functional but not a fancy place.
