Decent apartment on the outskirts on Verona.

Nice clean and spacious rooms and facilities provided for tea/coffee etc. We never used any of the kitchen but it was well stocked with everything needed. Host met us at the property and provided us with information for restaurants and supermarkets etc. The location is great if you are hiring a car with plenty of off street parking. Location only a 15 minute walk from the train station and 20 mins into Verona centre.

Wifi is poor and seemed only 2 could join the network at a time unfortunately. Air conditioning does not cover all the apartment however big fans were provided to try and circulate the air (we visited at an exceptionally hot time). It is correctly advertised as 3rd floor but it is tight when taking luggage up and down.

We had a wonderful stay in Verona the city is simply beautiful and a joy to ramble around.

The apartment was well maintained and clean. Extra bed linen and towels provided. Local shops nearby for supplies. Short bus journey to the train station and city for sightseeing. Less than 20 minute walk to the event we were attending. Adam our host was friendly and very helpful with information on cafes and shops in the local area and information about local public transport. The location of the apartment was in a quiet residential area. A person with mobility issues or elderly person with difficulty climbing stairs should note that the apartment is on the third floor and there is no lift. We are in our early 70's and this was not an issue for us.

Booking.com told us that there would be a taxi to meet us at the airport to bring us to the apartment. There was no taxi to meet us despite the fact that we posted our flight details on the website for taxi driver to keep updated of delays. Our flight from Dublin was late arriving, we stood in Verona airport for an hour waiting to be collected and eventually got our own taxi from the airport taxi rank. Adam our host informed us that he has no arrangement with Booking.com to provide taxi collection service.

Very nice apartment, new, clean, well equipped, in a nice walking distance to the city center. The owner Adam very welcoming, provided us with all the useful information. We recommend the apartment and buying the Verona Card if you plan sightseeing.

Exactly as described, convenient for train station, friendly, welcoming host.

Our host welcomed us on arrival with a cheerful smile and friendly greeting. Fridge had been stocked with plentiful supply of bottled water, which was most welcome given the unaccustomed heat, especially as we walked from the train station. The apartment is on the top floor of an older style modern apartment block in a suburb of Verona. I chose it as we planned to do day trips by train, so convenience for train station was more important than convenience to Verona’s historic centre. For us it was no more than a 10 minute walk to/from the station. Local gelatteria was excellent, and cafe did pastries and excellent coffee for breakfasts. Small supermarket just beyond the pastry shop. Perfect for what we wanted. A good (long) walk into city centre (buses available), navigation easy. We also talk a walk along the city wall, a park, and cut into the city another way and discovered a more laid back quarter...lots to explore and find.

It didn’t worry us, but be aware this is in an ‘ordinary’ suburb and immediate street surroundings are a little drab. People friendly though, felt welcome and not out of place. Also, be aware the apartment is on the top floor and no lift....again, not a problem for us at all, but be aware.

The property was a very spacious, 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen, living room, and bathroom. AC in bedrooms and a nice balcony as well. Great kitchen with basic supplies (coffee, milk, water, pasta, etc.) provided for your use! :-). Beds were very comfortable and more than adequate towels/bathroom supplies were provided. A very generous host! We stayed 6 nights and could have easily stayed longer. Would definitely return if back in Verona.

Exceptional

A spacious two bedroom apartment on the second floor of a building in a residential area of Verona but just a twenty minute or so walk from the historic parts of Verona and a straightforward fifteen minutes to the train station. The proprietors live in the same building and were waiting to welcome us. Everything is very clean and comfortable. There is also a good sized balcony. A great place to stop if you are looking for somewhere with plenty of space and comfort but also within easy distance of Verona's many attractions.

Neat, fully equipped and independent apartment. Great for leisurely walks to known spots. The owner lives next door, which is very useful.

Everything was great. Unusually hot weather was a little uncomfortable towards the afternoon, but that's an exception.

Home from home

A very cosy furnished apartment with comfortable beds, a fantastic shower and all the bits and bobs to make you feel welcome, like cold water in the fridge, pasta in the cupboard etc. Highly recommended.

Only thing to note is that the aircon unit is in the hallway between the rwo bedrooms but not inside the actual bedrooms. However, electric fans are provided so you can keep cool during hot weather.

Wir haben uns in der geräumigen und gut ausgestatteten Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt! Adam hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns wertvolle Tips für den Aufenthalt gegeben. Die Randlage ist ruhig und die Innenstadt lässt sich auch zu Fuß erkunden. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
