Thissio Cocoon

Abbiamo apprezzato molto la posizione. Il monolocale si trova in un quartiere residenziale quindi molto tranquillo, nessuno ci ha disturbato e avevamo vicinissime le stazioni di Petralona (9 min), Thiseio (7 Min) e Kerameikos (7 Min) quindi ci siamo spostati con una velocità e facilta6incredibile e la zona è servita da piccoli posti dove bere e mangiare e da botteghe e minimarket quindi non ci mancava nulla. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo anche il rapporto con il la compagnia proprietaria di casa che ci è venuta incontro con le nostre richieste e ci ha dato delle informazioni utili e opzioni per attività da fare durante il nostro soggiorno in Atene. Il monolocale e ben climatizzato e quindi abbiamo dormito senza soffrire il caldo, non abbiamo usato la cucina ma sembrava avere tutto per un breve soggiorno, anche il bagno è fornito di tutto e per fortuna c'era una piccola lavatrice che ci è stata utilissima per un imprevisto con i vestiti. Abbiamo prenotato consapevoli che il balcone del monolocale affaccia sulla linea metro ma l'infisso è davvero di buona qualità e nonostante passasse la metro noi non abbiamo sentito nulla. Gli arredi sono carini, forse il letto è un po' duro . Abbiamo apprezzato che la compagnia proprietaria del monolocale ci abbia inviato per email varie istruzio tra cui come accendere la caldaia per l'acqua calda, consigliamo solo di aggiungere un cartello con queste note (come è stato fatto con le istruzioni del wifi) perché ad esempio noi lo avevamo dimenticato

Qualche appunto da fare sicuramente è nella pulizia, purtroppo era un po' tutto impolverato, qualche posata sporca, ed in effetti la doccia ha alcuni segni di muffa. Io pavimento effetto legno è un po' rovinato e quindi difficile da tenere pulito. Purtroppo ogni volta che rientravamo in casa sentivano puzza di sigaretta, e non riuscivano a capire se provenisse dalla porta del vicino o l'appartamento ne era impregnato, ma accendendo l'aria condizionata la situazione si alleviava.

The location is very good and very near the Agora or Monastiraqi. The neighbourhood was nice and mostly quiet.

The train rail was very near and it was noisy in the early morning.

Toilet function..cistern was not filling up.

I like the bedroom furniture, especially that there was a dressing table. The apartment was walking distance from the main attractions. There were toiletries available and basic kitchen supplies and appliances. There was a decent coffee machine and a generous amount of pods.

The dressing table’s stool was broken, so we had to use one of the armchairs. The main hairdryer was also broken, but another one had been provided under the bathroom sink. The apartment had been passably cleaned and organised, but there was a strong smell from the toilet, so we had to keep using the cleaning product provided. We could not get the heating working in the evening as it was still chilly in Athens when we arrived. The WiFi would not connect to our phones via the router and the QR code provided. It took about 3 days for the host to fix the WiFi which was half our stay, and the host had to come into our apartment without us there twice for this issue. When it was finally resolved, the new WiFi did not connect to the TV, so we could not connect to the TV apps anymore. The building where the apartment is located is very old, the entrance is full of graffiti, and the lift is outdated, however this is common for most accommodation in Athens (this might be an unpleasant surprise). The balcony faces train tracks and is noisy when the train passes by even with the doors closed, and the views were not pleasant. There was no drying rack to hang washed clothes, so we did not use the washing machine.
