The host Dessy was absolutely exceptional and attended to all our needs right down to the last minute detail. The property is very conveniently located 5 -10 mins walk away from beach/ restaurants / massage etc
Others might prefer other locations of the island other than Mushroom beach but we loved the location

This is a little gem in paradise . It’s about 400m off the main road , within 300m of Mushroom Bay . Daisy and Kadek are absolutely wonderful hosts and will help you with anything you need. There are 4 cottages in a row. Ours was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was down 2 steps . Breakfast is simple yet filling - the banana pancakes are the BEST . Paired with Balinese coffee it’s a great way to start your day . The pool is small but very clean . There are plenty of local warungs around for lunch and dinner . It’s very quiet at night in Mushroom Bay which suited us perfectly . You can get taxis or scooter to Jungutbatu very easily .
The stairs down to bathroom at night can be a little daunting but it’s very common in Bali to have this.

What a little gem the lucky cottage is, and daisy and her husband were simply beautiful. With only 4 stand alone cottages and a short walk to mushroom bay, we were delighted with our choice to stay here. In fact due to global flight cancellations, we were the only guests for the week we were there and the service was second to none. The rooms were clean and incredibly comfortable, nothing was too much trouble. We were amazed how safe the whole island felt, we may never stay on mainland Bali again and would absolutely stay here again!! Do yourself a favour too and walk 5 mins up the road to (Taro) Aya Warung … the fresh fish caught by the owner daily … simply incredible! Thanks for the recommendation daisy!
Nothing. On our second or third day some excavators started clearing the land opposite the villas but our wonderful hosts asked them to start later as to not disturb our sleep (and it never did!)

The owners are very friendly, they will help you with anything, they were extremely flexible to accommodate my special breakfast times due to my diving schedules. The internet is strong and stable enough to work remotely. I did so for over a week with little to no issues.
