Long walk to our room as it’s a big hotel. Poorly fitted out gym. Only cardio equipment. Opening time of 7.30 is too late.

Great location in Westport

Hotel is in an excellent location a short walk from the town centre. The views from the hotel are also amazing with the dining room overlooking Westport and Croagh Patrick.

The breakfast service was slow, especially the queue waiting to be seated despite the times for breakfast being pre-booked. However, this was a small gripe and it was clear the staff were trying to accommodate people as best as possible.

Relaxing stay at the beautiful apartment in a gorgeous hotel. Staff were extremely friendly, polite and professional in all aspects. The food was first class. Clean rooms and entire hotel

Fireplaces in the bar for the win

The bathroom was nice and updated. Bedroom needs some updating. We loved how it was outside of the town, the exterior and lobby area was stunning, We enjoyed the bar area and being able to sit around the fireplace to hear the stories. It was nice to have plenty of parking and being able to park with ease.

The gentleman at the front desk was rude, never even looked up when we arrived and checked in. When we asked any questions, he was short and acted like we were imposing.

Traditional Hotel in a wonderful location

Hotel has a traditional vibe / needs updating depending on your point of view. Wonderful setting with views of Croagh Patrick and Clew bay when it wasn't raining . We had a huge room and a bathroom that had a walk in shower and spa bath . All the staff we had contact with were very friendly and helpful . I enjoyed the pool though it was a little on the cool side .

Very disappointed with the restaurant . Food was very mediocre - overcooked fish , a tough sirloin streak and mash potato with everything . It is grossly overpriced . Breakfast choices were limited with no continental option of cheese. ham etc. The room was hot with no aircon / ability to control temperature . No USB plugs Generally the hotel was very clean but there was a very unpleasant smell on the Presidential suite corridor

Very enjoyable and we were made to feel very welcome

Bed linen was really pleasant to sleep and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very well organised and the food was all of a very high standard. Staff were very friendly , especially Jordan , he had a lovely smile and a minute to talk to us.

The only thing that I think could improve is the quality of the towels. They aren't to the same standard as the bed linen.

Fantastic location , great staff , really enjoyed our stay

The breakfast was excellent and the staff very attentive

The restaurant menu was limited. Also the bathroom design is poor . No basket in the shower for soap, shampoo etc. no shaving mirror and the mirror totally misted up after a shower . Also if using bathroom during the night there was no small light to put on meaning the bedroom was bathed in light when you opened the door.

Tired hotel in need of room refurbishments.

Free breakfast was good. Hotel grounds were very nice.

Room was dirty - stained carpet, tissues stuffed in box in bathroom. No air conditioning in room so the room was very hot during mid-August. No ventilation in bathroom so while taking a morning shower, there was a lot of condensation in bathroom, resulting in water dripping from walls and light fixtures. The beds were weirdly set up. It seemed to be missing fitted sheets and sheet underneath duvet. There was only a mattress cover and a thin sheet separating the sleeper from the actual mattress. Overall, I would not consider this hotel to be a four-star hotel and not worth the money spent.

Nice hotel, bar seemed unorganised

Property were lovely, staff friendly on arrival and great location

We dinned in the bar and the order was incorrect and had to be redone, then when we ordered desert one came out and it took about 20/25 minutes for the second desert to come out (a bowl of icecream) it was a lovely hotel but I wouldn’t recommend the bar for food.

Peaceful retreat.

The staff was wonderful and the booklet in the room was very helpful. Food was also fantastic.

Not able to get a taxi in town to hotel. I think most people drive so this won’t be a problem but for those with larger bags who take the train or bus it is a bit of a hike. Nice walk without luggage.
