Plenty of space.
Weird smell around the place. Needed more people. The grounds need more care and cleaning. We missed the outdoor space to sit in.

The house was lovely the room was very spacious the bed was really comfortable the bathroom was also a good size
The road down to it was very narrow and long nothing really around we had to drive for 25mins to get some food and the gluten free options at breakfast were non existent I would have liked to see a mirror in the room for doing my hair and make up as the bathroom mirror was unavailable due to my husband being in the shower and the cobwebs around the ceiling were rather a lot the fact that no one seemed to know what gluten was as well was concerning I think they need to get clued up on food intolerances as it’s quite important

Like many other reviews it’s hard to quantify this place. It’s a once grand house, showing its age yet very quirky and that is in many ways its charm. It is slightly surreal staying there and meeting the owner who lives there with his family and who is very engaging.
It is in need of some TLC, and it is a drive rather than walk to get in to the village
