About this villa rental
Villa Melody is in the village of Platanias, 2 minutes walk from the sandy beach, no car necessary as everything is by foot distance of max. 10 minutes. Enjoy your summer holidays under the warm Cretan sun. Great for families, romantic getaways and those who seek unforgettable moments. Also unforgettable winter vacation relaxing by the fireplace and visiting the glorious White Mountains with the picturesque villages and the warm Cretan hospitality.
Swimming pool and garden: The swimming pool(25m²) of each villa is right in front, into its cool tree planted garden(200m²) with comfortable sunbeds. Between the two villas a group of trees has been planted so you can enjoy the natural discreet privacy of the house you have chosen.
Main bathroom: In the sun bright bathroom you can relax in the hydro massage bathtub and considering your personal needs we have at your disposal hair dryer, a personal treatment kit, towels, bathrobes and slippers.
Basement facilities: From the living room walking down the stairs you come to the lower level of the villa(35m²), where you can use the washing machine, the drier, the ironing board and iron whenever it’s needed in a little room especially formed.
There is also a luxurious W.C with hydro massage shower, hair dryer and towels. In this room there is a possibility of accommodating an extra guest (5th person) on a sofa bed at an extra cost according to the period of stay.

MAGNIFICENT, UNIQUE, PERFECT!!! Do not go to Platanias without a stay to villa Melody! Best holiday home I have ever stayed at!!!

The villa was just the right size for us and had everything we needed, maybe the kitchen needs a couple of kitchen ware. Only the one pot was not enough for us with three children, but we managed with some creativity. Anyway, the whole experience was splendid. The villa is just enough away that it's secluded and quiet, although it stands 20m from the main road with shops, bars etc. The proximity to everything is just great, if you want to go dining is just a couple of minutes away, if you need bread for you breakfast or something else is also a few minutes away, if you want to swim in the sea it's 5 min from the house, so practicaly you are in the middle of everything but still far away for the peace. The house is just our style, rock and wood and small details that make it homey. When we weren't around the island we spent all of our time in the pool and the patio, where you can lay all day in the shade with a nice breeze. The whole area was to our liking with the restaurants that served very good food to little shops and bars. All in all - 11 out of 10!

Our first impression of Villa Melody more than lived up to our expectation.
After a nice warm welcome we very quickly settled into what we felt was just like home.A truly peaceful oasis but with all the amenities of Platanias on your doorstep without being intrusive.
Well worth experiencing a visit to the Rock House bar for a good rocking night.
Certainly on our list to revisit the villa and would recommend it without hesitation.

Me and my two daughters had a fantastic week in Villa Melody. It is a fantastic villa, It has a very nice garden with a private pool. The pergola is underful, we spent the warm evenings out there. It is a few steps to the center with a lot of shops and restaurants and a few minutes walk to the beach. The villa was clean and well equiped and has a good wifi. A really recomened this villa!
