We were allowed to check in early! The staff were extremely nice and helpful. For $12aud a night we got a massive room with a mezzanine floor, heated bed, extra blankets, air con and fan if you come in the hot months i guess, good bathroom, hot shower. The free breakfast was good, either egg bahn mi or pancakes.

The staff was really helpful and always with a smile. Not much choice for breakfast but very good. There is a shared kitchen and refrigerator, even though it wasn't really clean. For the price, it's a very good homestay near the lake.
There is a rooftop bar right next door that blasts music from 8 to 10pm every night. The walls are paper thing so you hear everything in the room next door if they're loud.

Big room, quite clean but a bit old. Bed was decent. Cute dogs and cat!!!
Wasn't able to contact the owner at around 12am even though I mentioned late check in on the app. Waited about half an hour before being given a room. No hot water at night.
