Fansipan Terrace Cafe and Homestay

I stayed in a 6-bed dorm and loved it. The view was stunning, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The lockers were large, though they didn’t come with keys, so bring your own padlock. A basic breakfast was included in the price, which was a lovely. The restaurant, cafe, and common area were all great, and the food was the best part. I only ate out once or twice during my stay because I preferred eating at the hostel’s restaurant. They also offer a laundry service. Highly recommended!

The view from our room was really nice and the food and drinks were great. Nice location - walking distance from town center, and they have pleasant staff.

There was a bit of flooding outside the shower when we showered conservatively. Apparently the water did not drain on time. The wifi did not reach the room.

Our room had the most beautiful view, the food was so good, the staff were very helpful and polite

Fansipan Terrace Cafe and Homestay has a good location with fantastic views. The restaurant on-site is good, and the rooms are very clean with beautiful views. The general staff was also polite and friendly, although unfortunately, they do not speak much English.

However, the owner was extremely unhelpful and completely indifferent. Two months before my trip, I messaged him while booking, and he assured me that everything (tours and transportation) could easily be arranged on site. Once I arrived, he showed zero interest in helping, gave no assistance with organizing a local tour, and offered no help with finding bus tickets back to Hanoi. I was left to figure everything out on my own and was ultimately forced to hire a much more expensive private driver. It is a nice property, but do not rely on the host for any travel assistance or customer service.
