About this house rental
Very clean and comfortable townhome in the quiet neighborhood of Desert Hills 2. Located at the end of a cul de sac with mountain views of the Santa Ritas, it is just a 5 minute walk to Desert Hill Recreation Center where you will find a large swimming pool, Lapidary Club, Ceramics Club, exercise and weight room, and four tennis courts. The Elks Club and Presbyterian Church are nearby on either side of the DH social center. My home comes with GVR (Green Valley Recreation) so you are welcome to use any of our 11 social centers and attend all the classes and events GVR has to offer. You will have to purchase the guest card to use all facilities. See more on GVREC.org.
At least one of the renters must be age 55 or older.
The townhome has 1,027 sq. ft with covered carport and back and front yard patios. The entire home has been ceramic tiled for allergen free living. Seating for four in the living room with one of two flat screen TVs. Fully furnished and newly painted kitchen with all you may need for a long stay. Entire townhome was repainted in southwest colors in 2016. The master bedroom has a king bed, dresser and side bed stand. Two large closets for plenty of storage in both bedrooms. Master bath is off of master bedroom. Tub/shower in guest bath. Shower in Master bath. Guest bedroom has a trundle bed that sleeps two with a guest bathroom across the hallway. There is a computer desk located in the guest bedroom.
The rear patio has two tables for outside dining. The area is quiet and backs up to an arroyo where wildlife pass through. The washer and dryer are located off the patio which is covered.
The front patio has a table with two wrought iron bar stools with thick padded seats (located in closet off of living room) with views of the Santa Rita mountain range.
What I like about this home is it's location and quiet street. You are also likely to see our local wildlife during your stay. We have seen coyotes, mule deer, javelinas (wild pigs) and an occasional bobcat.
This is an artists home and is decorated in southwest colors with whimsical hand painted details. Original southwest inspired oil paintings decorate the walls in the living room. The bedrooms have original artwork as well.
Travel insurance is highly recommended for cancellations due to sickness or death. Shop on the internet to find one for your specific needs.

Karen place is nice and clean. The place is well stocked and we had everything we needed. It's convenient to groceries some restaurants and golf courses. Karen responded quickly when I had questions. We enjoyed our stay in Green Valley.

The location was perfect for my adult children and their partners. There was plenty of space for everyone and the home was perfectly appointed for our needs. It was very comfortable and Karen was very accommodating, helping to make our holiday celebration wonderful.
