Charming, totally renovated apartment in an old fisherman's house typical of old Nice, with a rare, unobstructed view of a small private garden beneath the famous castle hill. A secret, quiet, flower-filled alley leads to the terraces of the many cafés and restaurants of the flower market square.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi internet connection, cable TV, telephone and iPod docking station.
You'll enjoy the birdsong in the lemon trees from the two windows overlooking a private garden, or the soft backlight of the old shutters in the cool of the old town, while less than three minutes' walk away, you'll be facing the sea and its famous Baie des Anges, on Nice's beach where the water is turquoise and limpid.
The apartment has been completely renovated, preserving the architectural features of old Nice: old floor tiles, beams, shuttered blinds and clotheslines.
The use of materials such as faded or ceruse-treated wood, pebbles for the bathroom floor, plant carpets and driftwood create a charming vacation atmosphere, in the spirit of a chic seaside cabin.
The kitchen's functionality has been carefully considered, with a full range of electrical appliances in a contemporary kitchen space (central island, high stools, eating counter), in perfect contrast to the apartment's relaxed atmosphere.

Comfortable accommodations in a great location near Castle Hill and the daily market. Nice to have a laundry washing machine in the unit. The wi-fi was not working, but the host was responsive and found a solution within a couple of hours.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay in Nice! Exceeded our expectations with location, size and functionality. Only comments I have - when finding the room the numbers “1, 2, 3, 4” don’t match up perfectly - keep walking down the street to find the right door!And the bed is very firm. We struggled with it a little, but others may enjoy!

Absolutely upset by the location of this little street right in the center of Vieux Nice forgotten by tourists and crowd, Malonat accommodation is just the best solution I could ever dream of. Charming deco, view on a private garden and its lemon-trees, silence, all necessary modern comfort and more in an authentic old building, Malonat offers all the pleasure of art de vivre a la francaise... and 100 m away from the sea and the beaches ! Malonat is really a chance to experiment I will do so as soon as possible and give this excellent tip to all my friends and relatives. Thanks Joel for such a wonderful stay in Nice !
