***NO PETS*** . The Beach Walker Cottage is brand new to the vacation rental market on Saint Simons Island, Ga. Location, Location, Location just a short walk to everything you and your family will want to do while visiting Saint Simons Island.
As you walk up the front stairs on to the porch you will find a swing and love seat. This is a perfect area to read a book, enjoy that morning cup of coffee or enjoy the cool evenings with your favorite cocktail while listening to some of the local music that is being played nearby. Once inside the front door you will notice your spacious living/ dining area. In the living area you will find a sofa, another sofa that turns into a bed, a couple of sitting chairs, large flatscreen television and half bath. There is a dining table that sits six and an eating bar that will seat five. The kitchen is well equipped with new stainless appliances including a under counter ice maker. Across from the kitchen there is a hallway where you will find the washer and dryer and entrance to the roomy master that is situated with a beautiful king bed, flat screen television, oversized tub, walk in shower, double vanity sink and large walk in closet. Thru the back glass doors you will find a roomy back porch with sitting chairs and your very own private pool This pool is 3ft deep and 20ft by 20ft. Perfect for relaxing after those long days at the beach. Around the pool there are four very nice lounge chairs for sunbathing. You will also find a table for four with umbrella and large gas grill. ** Pool can be heated for $75.00 per day or $300.00 per week.** The outside shower located to the right of guest house will come in handy when returning from the beach.
Located in the rear is the two bedroom guest house with efficiency kitchen and small living area. Each bedroom has a queen size bed, flat screen tv and full bathroom. There is a small living area between the two bedrooms that is situated with two sitting/ sleeping pieces of furniture with a wall mounted flat screen tv. The kitchen area has a sink, coffee maker, small fridge and microwave.
The Beach Walker Cottage is located in the heart of our local village area. The cottage sits on Ocean Blvd and is a short walk to the beach, restaurants, fishing pier, putt putt, light house and numerous shops and boutiques. This home will surely be a family favorite for years to come.

We would like to make your vacation as stress free as possible. Services that we offer for an additional charge include bike rentals, golf cart rentals, kayak tours, fishing excursions, sunset cruises, island trolley tours and much more. We can also have one of the local island chefs come to your home and prepare a meal for you and your guests. **Any of these services will need a seven to ten day advance notice during the summer season.**
We also offers a grocery shopping service. For an additional fee, we will grocery shop for you and deliver to your home prior to your arrival. ** This service needs a 48 hour advance notice.**

The layout of the house was great and the location was amazing! We were able to walk to the park, beach, stores, restaurants, etc... The staff that we communicated with were very friendly. They stocked most items you would need. The pictures online show the house new but unfortunately it could now use some refreshing. The rugs, towels, bedspreads, etc.. are showing wear.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this home in St. Simons! You cannot beat the location - a very short walk to restaurants, bars, convenience stores, shops and the beach (note, the beach at the lighthouse isn't accessible at high tide, though East Beach is a short, less-than-5-minute drive.) The pool was wonderful - smaller than we anticipated, but great for the kids - and the area around the pool was perfect for sunbathing or relaxing under the shade. Would love to stay here again in the future!

Was terrified when i received actual address because it was on main drag among restaurants. However the house was beautiful and private with little noise. Everything was in easy walking distance, beach, restaurants and shops.

This was our first trip to St Simons Island. We rented this home based on the amenities and location. The day we were to arrive we got a call from the rental company that said the pool was not going to be open because the liner was being replaced. We received the call while sitting at the airport awaiting our flight to GA. We expressed our disappointment because the amenity that appealed to us the most was the fact that this home had a pool. There were many options for homes without pools (less expensive options) but we chose this one because our grandson is 2 and he would be visiting us at the home and we wanted to take him swimming. The response from the lady who called was "well you can cancel and come another time if you aren't satisfied with this"...again we are sitting at the airport. So I expressed that I felt we should be given some sort of discount if the pool isn't going to be functional. She said that couldn't happen and maybe the liner would come in before we left and they would come install it and then we could swim. I then sent a message through VRBO and Benji called us and his response was that I never stated in my request to rent that I was looking forward to being able to use the pool??? Now I didn't state that I was looking forward to being able to use the refrigerator but the assumption is that if they list there is a refrigerator that it would be a working refrigerator. When I came into the VRBO site today I see there was a review written in November that said the pool was closed when the person stayed here so the rental company knew this way before we arrived but chose not to tell us until the day we were to check in. When we talked to Benji, who we assumed was with Georgia Beach Rentals since that was the sign outside the home, he said he would talk to the owner and call us back the next day and we have yet to hear back from him 4 days later. Very disappointing experience and lack of customer service.
Otherwise the home was pretty nice except for the view of a big ugly hole in the back yard that we guess was the pool. The guest house bedrooms are very small and more suitable for young people or singles. The master shower also had a broken shower head. The location was great to walk to the pier and the lighthouse. Not great location for walking on or sitting on the beach.
