About this apartment rental

ED Refnr. 2605720

The tastefully furnished holiday flat at the foot of the Hasliberg was renovated to a high standard in 2019 and offers maximum comfort. With three bedrooms, each equipped with double beds, the flat offers space for six people. The bathrooms adjoining the bedrooms are equipped with spacious rain showers. One bathroom also has a bathtub with light effects. The living room of the 150m² flat offers a panoramic view of the mountains, a fireplace and balconies on both sides with barbecue facilities. The adjoining open-plan kitchen with cooking island and induction hob offers modern equipment including a dishwasher, steam cooker, oven, plate warmer and a fondue and raclette set. The dining table for six people can be extended to seat ten guests. A utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, a guest WC and a drying room in the basement with washing line and dehumidifier round off the holiday flat's facilities. There is a parking space in the underground car park and the flat is accessible via a lift.

Excursion possibilities: Meiringen is the town of Sherlock Holmes. The famous detective was thrown into the Reichenbach Falls here by Dr Moriarty. You will find a memorial near the railway station. You should definitely also visit the Sherlock Holmes Museum, which was opened in 1991 by the Sherlock Holmes Society of London and the daughter of Sherlock Holmes author Arthur Conan Doyle, as well as the town of meringues, special sweets invented by the Frutal bakery in Meiringen and shipped worldwide. The Hasliberg-Reuti district of Meiringen is home to the headquarters of the inventors and manufacturers of the famous Cuboro marble runs, a real toy hit. The large Cuboro shop is located on the main street in Meiringen. Since summer 2019, there has also been the "Cuboro hiking trail", on which several marble runs have been built between Bidmi and Reuti. The Hasliberg ski area is also home to Muggestutz and Raurinde, two friendly dwarves. In summer you can visit two dwarf hiking trails, one from Bidmi to Reuti and one from Käserstatt to Lischen. Important stages in the lives of Muggestutz and Raurinde have been recreated at several stations in the forest. Several children's books have also been written about Muggestutz.

Sports options in the surrounding area: mountaineering, climbing, mountain biking, cycling, tobogganing, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing

Location description: Meiringen is a community of 5000 inhabitants in the eastern Bernese Oberland in Switzerland. The cable car to the ski slopes of the Hasliberg ski area is within walking distance of the holiday flat up the stream.

Look out any window and see views of waterfalls and mountains. Gourmet kitchen, clean, and nice beds. I'd stay here again in a second. Decks on either side of the flat let you grab sun and gander at all the sights. Easy to communicate with the property manager. All around a great place.
