About this house rental
. Entire garden and the 4 levels of the house between garden and street level only for you. Located in the Gallo-Roman old village of Pierrefeu, the house partially integrated into the rock of the mountain, spread on 4 levels : street level entrance hall, living room chimney and kitchen, stairs leading to the bathroom and 1 bedroom at the level -1, stairs leading to the next bedroom level -2, stairs leading to the level -3 where you will found the washing machine + dryer and the garden door. All rooms have vue on the mountains and valley panorama of the Pre alpes Parc. .Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, coffee-machine, kettle, toaster, opens on the living-room with a massive wooden table sits 8, chimney, sofa bed (sleeps 1-2), stone walls.Sleeps 6, one Bedroom with double bed (140)and single bed (90), one Bedroom with double bed (140), Baby bed available upon request. Bathroom with toilet and 1/2 bath shower, hairdryer. Washing-machine, iron and iron board, wacum-cleaner, in the garden table and deck chairs, sun umbrella. Towels and linens are provided.
Calm and serenity, rosemary scented garden, the confortable house suits as well sports, nature or culture lovers, families (the village is car free) or traveller looking for a peaceful retreat : great choice of hikes, the river Esteron at 15 kms away for a swim or canyonning, (depending time of the year), the museum "Hors du Temps" located in the church at the end of the shingle paved road with contemporary works. Only 50 mn drive from Nice and the Mediterrannee Sea, Monaco, Cannes, Natural Parc of the Mercantour, Museums...The riviera without the stress!
Free public parking at the entrance of the village, no cars allowed in the tiny village, making it a great play area for the children! Attention!No shops in the village, first restaurant or shops are 15 kms before arriving in Pierrefeu, the old village located at the end of a 5kms narrow road, making it the perfect place to enjoy calm and the joys of Nature. Note : you need a car to access the village.

It’s a hidden, unbelievably beautiful village. The cosy and comfortable house offers a great view and is perfect! I will never forget this week! Very friendly communication with the owner.

ist ein wunderschönes kleines Dorf mit sehr netten, hilfsbereiten Menschen und einer tollen Umgebung. Da es keine Geschäfte gibt, muss man den Alltag logistisch gut planen. Das Haus ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und wild swimming Aktivitäten in der Umgebung.
Die Vermieter sind extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit, alle Fragen wurden sofort beantwortet, auch im Dorf direkt gibt es Ansprechpartner.
Wir haben uns gut erholt und die Natur sehr genossen. Dankeschön

Maison au calme nichée au coeur d'une magnifique vallée. Un panorama exceptionnel depuis le jardin, à l'ombre sous les oliviers. Un enchantement pour les yeux, une bouffée d'oxygène pour l'esprit !

It's a very nice house, all basics are available and allright. There are available toys, games and basic kitchen things like pepper, salt and seasoning. All things you don't use a lot of, but you won't like to miss.
Owners are friendly. The perfect base to have a holliday with a lot of canyoning, walking, seeing cool waterfalls and swimming in nice little rivers. Spent 10 days with husband and three kids (11, 10 and 7) and I wished I booked the house longer.
