There were many things we really liked about the property. Breakfast was not included, but a good selection of breakfast items was provided, including filter coffee, instant coffee, tea and herbal infusions. The owners also left us a packet of local biscuits as a welcome treat, which was perfect for a snack or breakfast. A lovely touch that not every host thinks of. The property is in a very central yet quiet location, just a few minutes’ walk from the main attractions. The accommodation also had several great features, including a washing machine and tumble dryer, air conditioning, a wardrobe in the bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery and utensils, and a cosy living room with a sofa and TV. The Wi-Fi was good, although not outstanding, with an average Speedtest result of around 297 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload. We also really appreciated the guestbook, which shows that the owners genuinely care about their guests’ feedback and are always looking for ways to improve, as well as the videos they sent us to help us discover and get to know the city.

Unfortunately, the ventilation in the bathroom was not particularly good, as the window is quite small and the room can quickly become very hot and steamy, almost like a sauna. This was not especially pleasant during the hot summer days. The property does not have a lift, and the overall space is perhaps a little limited for four people. That said, these were relatively minor drawbacks and certainly not enough to detract from our overall positive experience.

Excellent hosts, great info about Zagreb, thorough instructions for entering apartment, really prompt communication. Cute little place with everything we needed. They've been thoughtful in putting everything you could need into the apartment.

A thicker blind or curtain would be great in the main bedroom but we hung a blanket over the blind and it was fine (wasn't a big deal, the lovely hosts were worth staying there).
