MKR Family Room

The apartment was in a great location in the city! Restaurants and cafes all around. Short walk to sightseeing areas. The bed was very comfy and the room was very warm during the snow. There was tea & coffee provided which was really nice!

There was construction in the building during our stay but besides it being dirty, we weren’t woken up by any noise. Yes it’s on the top floor (4th) with no elevator so be prepared for stairs but I don’t think any of the above should reflect the review on the actual apartment ☺️

The location

The air conditioner is not working well it’s hot in the room

I liked the location and also that this tiny flat had everything one could need. The host is very nice. There was coffee, cookies, hair dryer, a well equipped kitchennete, comfortable bed and a nice air conditioner.

1) It wasn't possible to lock the door, the host needs to repair it. There was a notice saying "push the door to properly shut it" but no matter how much we tried, it worked just once but not later. As a result, we had to leave it open when we went out for dinner. Also we had to sleep with the door open and a suitcase in front of it to prevent it from opening completely. We could also hear the neighbors talking and moving around in the morning since the walls are thin and the door didn't properly shut. 2) The place is super tiny with just a very small window that's high up on the ceiling. 3) The flat is on the 4th floor and there's no lift or elevator - just a winding staircase. It makes no sense to book it if you are traveling with luggage (which most of us travelers are). To be honest, I like the host. But i'd like to inform those who are considering booking this and traveling with luggage so that they are aware. I would have paid more money to book a place with elevator because I was traveling with a child and two suitcases.
