About this apartment rental
Our incredible condo/vacation home is located on the 2nd floor right in the heart of the resort. You will love all of the new modern furnishings and feel the comfort and luxury a soon as you enter the property. High end furnishings including patio furniture, flooring, appliances and window treatments truly make our condo one of the best on the grand strand. The condo building known as 'Island Vista' was built in 2006 with all first class amenities and has a true resort feel. Our condo is located in a quiet residential neighborhood known as the 'GOLDEN MILE'. Located on over 500 feet of sandy beach and is situated on one of the least crowded areas in Myrtle Beach. You will be near the action and away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. As soon as we walked on the property of Island Vista, we knew this was the place we would call home.
Our condo is very spacious (50% larger than the typical Myrtle Beach Suite) and has all the upscale interior appointments such as granite counter tops, tray ceilings, tile flooring & a Jacuzzi tub you should expect. Our home is DIRECT oceanfront and offers spectacular ocean views from the living room and kitchen area as well as the master bedroom. It also includes a large living room and a dining room for family dinners and each bedroom is equipped with a 32" OR larger LCD flat panel TV and a private bath. The large master bath also offers granite counter tops, double vanities and a large Jacuzzi tub. And don’t forget we have a “FULL SIZED” washer and dryer in our condo for your convenience.
We have all the amenities at our resort and the area is just perfect for your family. And since the weather is wonderful all year long, whether you’re here for a family vacation, a winter retreat, a romantic getaway, a men's golf retreat or even a girl’s weekend getaway, “Anytime is a Good Time” to visit Myrtle Beach. But even if you want to just hang out, the onsite restaurant, Tiki hut bar and grill, wonderful pool complex, hot tubs, tanning lawn and the list goes on and on, make it the perfect getaway!!
Even though our kitchen is wonderful and totally stocked with everything you need, you might want to visit the full service upscale restaurant in our resort, 'The Cypress Room” which has one of the best breakfasts on the Strand. It is open for breakfast and dinner daily, so enjoy the oceanfront dining at its best. This restaurant opened in the original Sea Island 30 years ago and has created a following of locals. It is recognized as one of the best on the Grand Strand.
When you find yourself lying in the sun around one of the 3 pools, you can also enjoy the “Tiki Hut Bar and Grill”, a favorite of ours featuring frozen drinks, cocktails and casual food at reasonable prices. We hope you decide to choose our home away from home for your vacation. I’m confident you will start building family traditions and memories of your own in our beach haven. Our home offers elegant comfort, extra room for relaxing and a view of the beach that will last in your hearts long after your vacation is over. This condo is privately owned and rentals are strictly available through private rental agreement with the owner, NOT through the resort management company Island Vista Holding Company LLC. The resort management company offers a bell-service, room service and snow-bird activities that are not available to private rental guests. ALL resort amenities (pools, gardens, gym, parking garage, restaurant etc) are ALL available for private guests without restriction. Because my unit is on the second floor, it is very easy to park on the same floor as the condo to unload your belongings. I also provide my own beach towels for my private guests not able to use the management company pool towel machine. Please contact the host for details of all amenities, date restrictions and with any questions.

Staying at Island Vista is always a treat but this is a great unit with easy access from the 2nd level parking deck. I liked that the rooms felt more spacious than other units I’ve stayed in because there was less clutter. My son enjoyed the puzzles and games in the living room and although we brought our own beach toys there were plenty to be found in the storage closet. Communication was easy and the condo was very clean and nicely appointed. I will 100% book this unit again.

This is our 4th or 5th time staying at this condo. We stayed with friends. We enjoyed our stay. We enjoy the area and unwinding from the busy summer.

We have stayed at Island Vista before and really love the resort, the amenities and the proximity to many great locations. The condo was very roomy and had a wonderful view of the ocean. The furnishings and cleanliness of the condo was very nice. Some drawbacks on this specific room: The location of the room and the door is less than 6 feet away from the elevator and you can hear the ding each time someone gets on it from the two bedrooms that face the main hallwayThe hot water takes around 3-5 minutes to get warm. We contacted the owner who indicated there were some repairs that were to have been made the week prior that must not have been completed. There is no secured internet in the room. The only option is the resort WiFi which is not secured. The only smart TV in the condo is in the living room. The other TVs have basic cable only. The slider on the balcony does not lock currently. The owner says this happens every few years and the normal prep for busy season hasn’t occurred yet. Lastly if you have stayed at the resort before and rented through the resort, you are familiar with the pool towels that the resort provides. This service is not available for anyone that rents through VRBO so you will need to bring your pool and beach towels with you.
