About this house rental
Kid friendly, 3 level, all-season lakeside resort home has water-front views with a sandy beach for swimming just a few steps from front/back door. Spacious living room with cathedral ceiling, gas fireplace (with floor to ceiling stone chimney), 1 of 2 Big HD TV's, blue-ray/DVD player (ROKU on demand and streaming for adults and kids), dining room with seating that expands for 10, plus a breakfast bar; a fully equipped kitchen and spacious deck; all of these rooms and deck overlooking water, dock and beach. Lower level family/game room has water views, ping pong table, a separate 3-way game table (foosball, mini-pool and slide hockey) and TV on a big HD screen. This 2800+ square foot stand-alone house features waterfront, beach (boating and water activities) tennis and skiing...set in a private, cloistered condominium complex. Golf is less than 15 minutes away (3 golf courses within 20 minutes).
Restaurants, movie theaters, antique shopping and 2 screen 'drive-in' movie theater is close at hand. Pleasant Mountain ski area is across the street (multiple ski areas within reasonable range), minutes from North Conway activities & outlet malls, Saco River and Conway steam train ride. There are a variety of places and/or activities for each season to satisfy anyone's interests, including relaxing.

The spacious property is a great place to bring our extended family back to Maine for a week-long vacation. The shallow sandy beach is only steps away and perfect for young kids, and a private tennis/pickleball court is just around the corner. This was our second stay at the property and in both cases we had a great time and the host has been very easy to work with.

Wonderful week on Moose Pond. Good location to North Conway, Bridgton and Portland. Able to easily relax at home or out in the 2 kayaks! Loved it and so did my family!

This property was really enjoyable and a great value. The house is just as advertised, but very well-equipped with thoughtful touches, such as well-placed night lights throughout and a bucket for washing feet when you come up from the beach zone. The lakefront location is great. We did lots of swimming and took the kayak out several times. There are good hikes close by, and more hiking and paddling opportunities in Fryeburg and over the NH line in the Conway area. Grocery stores and other conveniences are close by in Bridgton, which is a nice place to lunch and shop. Mountain Road is great for running.We cooked nearly every night, and the only things we would recommend adding to the house are a few small kitchen items -- a garlic press, a better can opener, a brush for the grill, and a countertop dish drainer for salad bowls, carving knives and such. All the major things we needed were there, including a blender and plenty of flatware. Our only issue was an internet outage late in the week, which the owners promptly reset when we called them. Our family of 4 had more than enough space -- the house can easily accommodate groups of 6 to 8, with 4 bedrooms on 3 floors and 3.5 baths. Highly recommended!
