The wooden staircase is hand-crafted and leads to a superb light and airy well-equipped kitchen with an oven hob, microwave, fridge and freezer; it has smart cream painted units, pale beech work surfaces and a table and chairs, ideal for two to enjoy meals together.

There is a comfortable sitting room with views towards the harbour and with views of the iconic Whitby Abbey. Decorated in relaxing neutral tones with beach scenes in driftwood-style frames, there is a TV with Freeview and Netflix.

Town: The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
