Ashben Cottage

The cottage was just as described. It was very clean, well decorated and furnished and the beds were very comfortable.

Brilliant location! Very clean with everything you needed, Large rooms and living & kitchen area. wonderfully quiet. yet a few minutes from the amenities of Whitby! Great value, highly recomended.

No breakfast

More maintance of the property. All floors need properly screwing down. All floors badly creak badly. Not excptable. Owner needs informing. We would certainly return if maintenance completedcompleted

The shower was way too small. Especially as the bathroom was so big. The shower head would not stay in the holder and kept falling off. The shower door would not close properly. It needed a good cleaning too. Downstairs we moved the sofa to an angle so that we could watch the tv in the evening. Ideally it could be on a pivoting holder. Outside the courtyard is shared between three cottages. One entry gate is shared between the cottages. If your dog runs off you will need to stand outside with it.
