La Rourette: spacious house, breathtaking views, large pool

La Rourette is a spacious holiday home for 10 people with a large swimming pool and a superb view of the Luberon Valley from its position between the villages of Murs and Joucas.

The house can accommodate 6 adults and 4 children in a room with 4 bunk beds. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and the other bedrooms are upstairs. All rooms face south.


- - - INTERIOR - - -

The large living room is centered on a beautiful stone fireplace, with dining table and piano.

Next to the living room, the kitchen is equipped with an American fridge-freezer with cold water and ice dispenser, oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, juicer, smoothie machine, coffee maker Nespresso coffee and filter coffee maker. The kitchen opens onto the terrace and its dining table.

Also at the r.d.c., the TV room.


- - - BEDROOMS - - -

The master bedroom is on the ground floor and includes a bed that can be two single beds or a 1.8m wide bed. The room also has a sofa and a desk. The en-suite bathroom has a bath, separate shower, double sinks and separate WC. Both rooms open on the south facing terrace.

The other three bedrooms are upstairs.

Bedroom 2 has two single beds, while Bedroom 3 has the choice between 2 singles or a double 1.8m wide. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with walk-in shower and separate WC.

Bedroom 4 is a great great room for kids, with 2 sets of bunk beds, for 4 kids. The bathroom is with bath, shower, double sinks and WC.

The exterior is on different levels, each with a magnificent view. First, the level of the terrace that runs the entire length of the house, with the shaded dining table. In suite there are two levels of lawn, and the large swimming pool measuring 14m x 6m. The pool has steps and an infrared alarm. The depth is from 1.4 m to 2 m. At the edge of the pool is another place to eat under the shade of the pergola.

The garden extends over 5,000 m2, with lawn, olive trees, lavender, and a beautiful flowering. Beyond the garden, the landscape of Luberon extends, with an apricot orchard in the foreground, the Luberon mountain in the distance, and the perched village of Roussillon between the two.

The house has parking and a garage, and is 1.6 km from the village of Murs and 3.5 km from Joucas. Both villages have restaurants and food store.

In the hills between Joucas and Murs, 2 beautiful non-tourist villages, and near the town of Apt. The popular villages of the Luberon are 15-20 minutes - Gordes, Bonnieux, Menerbes, Roussillon, Goult, etc. It is the landscape of vineyards, lavender, olive trees, and perched villages - the dream of Provence!

Joucas is a laid-back and very pretty little perched village, topped by a 900-year-old fortress. After wandering around its medieval streets you can take in the wonderful view over a morning coffee or lunch from the simple bistro La Terrasse. For the sporty there are tennis courts as well as a playground for kiddies. And Joucas also has an ace up its sleeve for foodies – a Michelin-starred restaurant, Mas des Herbes Blanches, where the view matches the food.
