House on 3 hectares with heated pool in Gargas

We stayed at La Grasille for two weeks in June 2019. A large family party, ranging from 9 months of to 84 years of age; 7 adults and 4 children. We used 6 of the bedrooms, so it could easily accommodate larger groups.The bedrooms are mostly on the ground floor which made access easy. The large central room which has the dining area, sitting area and kitchen is cool in the hot weather. The furnishings and fittings are rustic rather than premium but that is fine for a rural property like this. The bedrooms are comfortable. The two bedrooms on the first floor have air conditioning and there is a good shower and lavatory on that level. The stairs are steep that makes it inaccessible for the elderly and difficult with babes in arms but comfortable for adults and older children. The bedrooms were quite cool but needed fans in the heat, none has an en suite lavatory but there are lavatories and showers on the ground floor. There is one bath, en suite to one bedroom and one bedroom has an en suite shower; look at the floor plan carefully when allocating rooms. Sheets and towels are supplied at an additional cost. We used the kitchen a great deal and ate in for most meals, using the large tables on the patio as our dining area, occasionally eating indoors when it was very hot during the day. The house has a good number of plates, crockery and eating utensils and we found cooking for a large number of people easy in the relatively small kitchen, which is well equipped. Having two large refrigerators, both with ice boxes, is a good idea and allowed us to store food and drink in the cool. The grounds are large and contain many toys and diversions for children and adults. We did not use the hot tub, which costs extra. Parking is good and there is plenty of space. The pool is good and secure which was essential with small children, some of the pool furniture needs replacing. The position is good, close to the main road but far enough away not to be annoyed by traffic noise. The house has a good southerly view from the garden, across the valley towards Bonnieux. The property is not in a village but is close enough to Apt to allow for easy shopping and the cycle track to the town centre is close to the house. The bikes are only good for short local excisions. Parking is good and there is plenty of space. Aurelie, who manages the property, was charming and helpful. We spent a very enjoyable time in La Grasille and would recommend it to large family groups.

An Excellent stay, weather beautiful, property very good in all respects, pool cleaned regularly, bikes available for all ages and facilities to keep adults and children entertained throughout our weeks stay.

This House with Garden and Pool and space for 14 People was a perfect location to celebrate my birthday with my friends and family. Everything was fine. We loved the pool and the house. The rooms were clean and fine. Enough bathrooms and toilets for all. Perfect. I will come again :-)

A proximité de tous les sites de la région, cette location a été très fonctionnelle pour notre groupe d'amis. Maison très spacieuse et agréable, avec des équipements de loisirs adéquats. Accueil très sympa du propriétaire et de sa famille.

We loved this house! We spent two weeks with 3 couples and 3 babies/toddlers, having a great time. There is plenty of space and lots of sports equipment to keep everyone entertained. This was especially useful for us, because it is hard to visit cities or wineries with children. However, the surrounding is also amazing and there is lots to do. Perhaps not for young couples without kids - but for those who love nature, rest, wine, and historical villages, Luberon/Vaucluse is excellent. The service was also great, we have no complaints whatsoever about the owner, who lived nearby and regularly checked in to clean the pool. We communicated in English-French (he wrote and spoke in French, me in English most of the time).

La propriété est très fonctionnelle, spacieuse, confortable et très bien équipée dans tous les domaines. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec le soleil en prime ce qui nous a permis de profiter de la terrasse, de la piscine avec de nombreux transats, pétanque, baby foot, ping-pong etc... De plus elle est bien située pour les visites aux alentours et notamment le Colorado Provencal. Le propriétaire Patrick est très sympa et merci encore pour le cadeau de bienvenue. je recommande cette location. Françoise de ANNECY

Même à 13 chacun trouvait ,s'il le souhaitait , un lieu paisible et fleuri où s'isoler . Les lieux communs, salle à manger sous pergola en extérieur, salon , piscine = parfaitement sympa et bien équipés . Patrick s'occupait quotidiennement de la piscine et la proximité de son domicile faisait qu'il venait volontiers partager nos apéros ...à la bonne franquette. Vélo, golf , visite et rando à discrétion. Nous RECOMMANDONS vivement ce lieu de pais , isolé mais très proche d'Apt , de Lacoste , Bonnieux , Roussillon, Ménerbes etc..
