Casa Mar Azul ~ 'Where the land ends and the Caribbean begins'.. tucked away in the Punta Sur (South Point) is our luxurious and very spacious 3 bedroom and 3.5 residence. Punta Sur is the most exclusive and sought after area on the island offering unhindered views overlooking the "neon blue" waters of of the Caribbean and the Bay of Cancun. This side of the island is well known for the best views & multi-colored sunsets over the Caribbean Ocean.
Our home is surrounded by the Caribbean Ocean and located in front of the Garrafon De Castilla Beach Club .. which is located literally a few steps from our front gate. Perfect for a large family or as a holiday retreat and is ideally positioned to enjoy the close proximity to white sandy beaches, bars and restaurants less than a 5 minute walk from the front of our home.
You will enjoy year round sparkling clear, warm azure waters, beautiful white sandy beaches, gentle tropical breezes, spectacular views, ancient Mayan ruins and modern conveniences that is only a 18 minute ferry ride from Cancun - but worlds apart.
Our home features a beautiful pool with tempered glass around the edge for added safety..it creates a mirage of those beautiful “Caribbean blues". Casa Mar Azul is a very large & open living room and dining area with brand new furniture..Reclining sofa, loveseat and recliners for your afternoon siesta. The downstairs living & dining area allows you the ability to 'bring the outside - inside' that features retractable glass doors leading to the pool area. We have a full size outdoor grill for you to use as well. Custom wood cabinetry in the kitchen and travertine flooring throughout our home, granite countertops, Complimentary international phone line for you and your guests to use during your stay to keep in touch with loved ones, Roku TV with access to streaming services, High speed WiFi internet throughout our home as well as a WiFi network booster, so no matter where you are in our home there will always be a strong signal. Ceiling fans are installed in every room, and split air conditioning units in all rooms that will cool down VERY quickly..
Our home offer three very spacious Master suites. The 1st bedroom is located on the main level of the house and it has a King bed with luxurious bedding with en suite large bathroom with walk-in shower & walk-in closet. On the 2nd level of the home you will find the beautiful Master suite that has a King size bed, luxurious bedding and 'floor-to-ceiling' windows on 3 sides that overlooks the Caribbean Ocean & Cancun Bay, Large en suite bathroom and built-in closet with plenty of space for your clothes and built-in safe. The 3rd Bedroom has two Queen beds and walk-in closet, & ensuite full bathroom with large shower. Each bedroom has a large private full bathroom with walk-in showers and marble vanity tops. Second level bedrooms have walk-out balconies/terraces overlooking the Caribbean and a table and chairs on the balcony.
Up one more level and you will reach the spacious rooftop area with unobstructed views of the beautiful "Caribbean Blues" and the most brilliantly colored sunsets on the island. We recently completed construction of a lighted pergola and tiled bar area with sink and refrigerator, custom oversized sectional sofa with comfy cushions & lots of throw pillows to relax and get lost in all the beauty and ocean breezes..maybe grab a nap or two. The area is ideal for entertaining friends, family trips, weddings and hosting yoga retreats.
Additional Amenities: Here are just a few of the many additional "perks" that we provide for each of our guests (no additional charge) to make your vacation as stress free as possible I am more than happy to arrange for reserving your golf cart and it will be delivered to our home at the time you specify and there is never any additional charges for gas for your entire rental, your round-trip private airport transfers to the ferry to head to the island. Our family has used them (& still do) for nearly 20 years...all of our guests rave about their dependability and promptness.. We can have our home pre-stocked with your grocery & beverage items prior to your arriva, arrange for a once in a lifetime opportunity to swim with whale sharks (May 22 - September 17), etc. If you can think of it.. we can make it happen! Just ask!

We had a wonderful time at the property! This was our second time at this property. There was plenty of room and privacy for the three adult couples (in our 40s) we had sharing the house. Check-in was smooth, and the host and house manager were both very responsive the entire stay. Everything was very clean, and the daily housekeeping (except Sundays, which we were told about ahead of time) was a great perk. The A/C in every room worked great! No issues with plumbing as some other properties seem to have. You can't beat the views! We spent a lot of time enjoying the pool, away from the crowds when we needed down time. The location is also wonderful. We were close to Punta Sur and The Joint, two of our favorite places. We rented two golf carts, and the drive to Hidalgo/Playa Norte goes pretty quick (around 20 min). The only suggestions we have are putting up another blackout curtain panel in the primary/master bedroom for the side window due to the security lights from the neighboring building lighting up the room very brightly at night. I bought an eye mask, so it wasn't anything that compromised my stay. Also - the mattresses in each bedroom are a bit firm. Maybe pillow toppers would help? Again - nothing that "ruined" our stay. Just suggestions! Thank you again for sharing your home and giving us an awesome place to stay on our vacation!

This property was ideal for our family vacation. The pictures were current. It is a very spacious property and was very clean. We used their recommendation for transfers from airport. Their contact met us at the property and surprised us with a plate of chips and guacamole. The kids loved the pool, the adults loved the views, and all enjoyed the relaxing chairs and couches for watching sports. Showers were nice and hot. We used their service to have them do a little shopping for us. In future I would pay extra to have airport shuttle stop on the way ( cheaper) and more options. You just have to carry it. Kitchen had plenty of plates and glasses. Would have been nice to have plates that you could reheat in microwave ( plates provided were melamine which shouldn’t be microwaved). Hand soap at sinks. Would advise bringing own soap and shower products. Only thing was confusing was if their was washer and dryer and how frequently cleaning provided. Lists washer and dryer but not available. You can ask cleaners to wash and dry what you need. That worked fine. I thought we were to have daily cleaning but only came when requested. Perhaps this was because it was a holiday week. This property is not walking distance to downtown but there are many things to do within walking distance. You can arrange for golf carts for all or part of trip. This worked well for us. We would definitely return to this property. We enjoyed our stay. We love Isla!

Home was nicely appointed and perfect for our group of 10. Unfortunately, due to poor pool maintenance, the pool with a view was inaccessible for half of our 5 day stay. We were in constant communication giving Ashley and Stacy updates and were patient and understanding in the process. Unfortunately, no follow up or compensation was given even though pictures clearly showed a green, murky pool that our 6 boys were unable to use. Disappointing as we chose this property primarily for pool access.
This home is located less than 5 minutes to a beach club with a pool. It would have been nice to have been offered a minimal compensation to allow our children access to the pool down the road.
Even a follow up response to my texts or email would have been appreciated. Unfortunately this left a bad representation on an otherwise nice property.
