Villa Saadhu with Fantastic Oceanview

We were grateful that our family of 7 was welcomed to Villa Saadhu. We came into this stay with an open mind, understanding that island living has its own rhythm, charm & pace. We made some wonderful family memories here. With a few updates & a little extra attention to maintenance, Villa Saadhu could easily live up to its beautiful potential.

To help future guests, I think it's fair to mention a few things so expectations match the experience. The villa has wonderful bones and could benefit from some TLC. The layout matches the listing, but many photos appear to have been taken some time ago. Some furnishings, décor, linens & outdoor spaces have aged or changed, so the home doesn't quite reflect the listing photos. If anyone in your group has mobility concerns or prefers to avoid stairs, this may not be the best fit. The staircases are steep, so extra caution is recommended. We experienced a few maintenance issues. We temporarily lost running water, but a quick switch had it working again. The stove & microwave occasionally reset themselves if left idle, but once we figured that out, they worked fine. The 1st-floor bedroom worked well for our grandmother. The tradeoff is that it's closest to the street, so you'll hear traffic during the day, although it becomes much quieter at night. There's also a cute patio with a BBQ grill, but during our stay it had no outdoor seating & didn't quite match the listing photos. The 2nd floor had the strongest A/C & a great living space. It would've been great to have a TV in the 2nd level. One bedroom, however, had an odor coming from the bathroom drains, & my daughters chose not to sleep there because of it. The 3rd-floor suite was our favorite for the privacy, stunning ocean views & private pool. The tradeoff is that it's also the hottest part of the villa. The bedroom has A/C & a ceiling fan but never cooled as much as we hoped. A portable fan would've helped, but we were told one wasn't available. The bathroom was even warmer & could really benefit from its own A/C or better ventilation. By day 3 we joked your body finally adjusts to the island heat... or maybe it's nature's way of reminding you to get back outside & enjoy paradise.

La villa es muy amplia y fresca, fui con toda mi familia y estuvimos muy cómodos. Además de que la atención de los anfitriones fue muy buena, se esforzaron por hacernos sentir especiales.

La ubicación es en el centro de la isla y la atención del personal la verdad es excelente.
