ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR LAKEFRONT RENTALS ON LAKE WEDOWEE... we have continued to add new amenities each year for the benefit of our guests! Recently, the house, decks and dock got a completely new look and we added a nice porch swing down on the dock as well as swings for the kids on the lower deck. Last year, the house got a new Flat Screen T.V. to enhance our home theater system so you can enjoy your movies, music, etc. We've also added new linens, furnishings and other amenities to make your stay more enjoyable. WE HAVE UPGRADED OUR PONTOON BOATS TO BRAND NEW PREMIUM BENTLEYS! These are the newest, nicest rental boats on the lake at the lowest price.
Enjoy the double hammock near the water's edge and porch swing on the dock for relaxing by the lake. Our cove is the perfect spot for kids to swim in the lake, right off the dock. We also have 'Kingsford' charcoal grill on the front porch... as well as beautiful outdoor furniture on the screened porch. The large screened porch is everyone's favorite gathering place, but there are more decks and porches to enjoy, including a dining gazebo by the water with a picnic table. Our 'Old Town' 3-person canoe is also available for our guests use.

All towels, linens, dishes, and cooking utensils provided. We've tried to create a quiet peaceful, atmosphere where you can spend time with friends and family, with plenty of things to do together. Play a board game or read a book and relax. Or just sit out on the screened porch at night and listen to the symphony of frogs and crickets. We also have a nice home theater system, for watching movies or listening to music on DVD/CD. 'Kingsford' BBQ grill (charcoal) available for guest use.
Just 4 miles from downtown Wedowee. Minutes to grocery stores, movie rental, drugstore, and other shopping (Super Walmart a short drive away). You can now buy beer and wine in the local grocery stores (Yes... Wedowee/Randolph County is now 'wet'!). Several nice family style restaurants within 15-20 minutes including excellent barbeque, Mexican, Pizza, and 'Southern-style' cuisine... check out the popular 'Top-of-the-River' Restaurant in Anniston. Also, Lakeside Marina restaurant (for catfish, burgers, etc) is accessible by boat and has nice outdoor seating. Also, Hacienda San Antonio Mexican restaurant has great food, excellent service and serves beer and Margaritas.

1) Pontoon boat must be booked immediately after booking the house. otherwise we cannot guarantee a boat will be available for your dates.
2) Anybody driving needs to be at least 25 years old and have previous experience operating boats in the past.
3) BOAT RENTAL IS NOW AVAILABLE YEAR-ROUND.
4) Boat rentals are available for the entire stay or as little as 1 day.

Great house and very clean. We opted to rent the pontoon as well and had a great time. There was plenty of room in the house and we enjoyed the dock and fishing as well. It’s nice and remote without a lot of distractions if you’re looking for a getaway where you can truly unplug, this is it.

Average stay. Home was spacious, clean and well appointed. Plenty of rooms for large families.
Underwhelmed with three things:
1. No TV which is almost a crime during football season.
2. Internet was terribly slow. Could not stream football either (see above)
3. The view of the water was almost totally blocked by trees and Kudzu. Homeowner needs to kill kudzu before it kills the trees and then thin out the trees.
