Relaxing vacation near Vlorë

The best pool in the area - clean, big and in beautiful surroundings. Also the family-owned restaurant surprised me with my best dinner in Albania. The town (center) was walk away and I enjoyed these walks to bars and restaurants.

I was missing hot shower couple of times and there are mosquitos, so be prepared. Otherwise it was nice to be away from all the hustle of bigger cities.

At the end of our holiday a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

Excellent peaceful location, while only 1 km from Orikum town and 2 km from the public beach. The pool was fantastic, a really good length for swimming and very clean, and, the sun beds were exceptionally comfortable with super views of the mountains. The rooms were large with good showers and air conditioning. Breakfast was simple but there was plenty with a good mix of eggs, fruit, bread, jam and cheese. The associated restaurant just a 2 minute walk away had a great choice of local meat and vegetarian dishes for us to try - excellent! The staff were very attentive and helpful, including helping us to catch our bus back to Tirana on our last day. We would have liked to have stayed longer!

Quiet, simple stay with a nice pool

The staff (it's a family run business) was super nice and accommodating. We asked for a few blankets for the beds and it was no problem. The property is charming, albeit a bit basic. The pool is a lovely focal point and the kids enjoyed swimming. We also enjoyed the family-run restaurant just a few minutes' walk away. Air-conditioning felt good given the heat outside (summer); it's located in the back bedroom and gets shared with the front bedroom, so you'll want to leave the door open in between.

We didn't not like anything, but I wanted to share a few details in case they're helpful. There is WiFi by the pool, but it doesn't extend to the villas/rooms farther out, so be sure you have data on your phone/s and devices if you want to be connected in your room. The shower had nice water pressure, but there was no hot water. In the summer, this wasn't an issue. Pillows on the beds aren't the softest, and our room didn't have the brightest lighting inside (no bedside table lamps), so pack anything you may want in that regard. We encountered many mosquitoes while sitting by the pool in the evening, so if you are a magnet for getting bitten, you may want to prepare accordingly. (We mostly did not get bitten, amazingly.) Do pack your own shampoo, etc. Also, note that there is no hot water kettle or coffee maker, though there is a small refrigerator. Breakfast in the morning is from 8-10am but I would suggest being flexible, as it is prepared for all guests together; ours was ready closer to 9am. There is coffee (espresso, cappuccino, etc.) and tea, along with food. Oh, and do expect to pay for your stay in cash.

Idyllic getaway, amazing food and hospitality!

The location was spectacular! There was a stream nearby teeming with birds, turtles and frogs. Surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. A nature lover’s paradise. The pool was so refreshing! The restaurant was idyllic - outdoor seating by the water. Amazing food! The best lamb and beef, oven cheese! Freshly made bread. Everything was top notch. The staff were the best though. They went out of their way to make the experience special. They prepared breakfast early for us since we had an early outing planned. They made wonderful caj molli (tea) in the evening. And when I got injured on a hike, one staff member- who happened to be a nurse- treated my wounds and even checked back on me the next day. We cannot say enough good things! We hope to return soon!! Such a great family-run business!

Great holiday experience

Very nice, cozy resort. Nice apartments just outside Orikum. Ideal for true relaxation. Nice and clean swimming pool. Hosts are very kind and helpful. Delicious breakfast every morning. Would definitely recommend!

The staff is super friendly. The pool is clean and big. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the portions are large. It's only 100m away. The prices are cheap. Everything was perfect.

Very good

An isolated resort, great for families. The town in general is pretty small and not crowded, which gives it a relaxed vibe. You get a comfortable room and a great pool, with not many rooms so it is not crowded at all.

Breakfast isn't great (they bring some pastries from elsewhere with some butter and bananas). We were there for 3 nights- not once was the room cleaned.

Exceptional

We were the only guests and had the whole resort for us. The pool is amazing and as others noted can be used all day and night. We had dinner at the fish restaurant that seems to belong to the same owners (5 minutes walk) and it was great! Would certainly come again.

The staff was megafriendly, the location is superb: sorrounded by mountains with amazing views but literally 3 minutes driving to the beach! The location makes the place cooler than staying at the beach. There is a great swimming and palm trees. The atmosphere was friendly and relax. There is a restaurant by the river, just 500 yards away, otherwise the town centre is 2 min away by car. The rooms are separated little houses. Ours has two big bedrooms, a very decent size bathroom air conditioning, fridge and small ground floor terrace with table and chairs. Breakfast is served in the bar by the swimming pool or on your terrace. We just loved our stay there!

Perfect plays for holidays with children

Definitely the pool, it is fantastic and you can stay there for whole day. My children loved it. It is actually very big and quite deep (between 1.5m and 2.5m)

Fantastic place whit beatiful surrounding’s

So beautiful peaceful place surrounded by the majestically mountains! Wonderful garden with a very nice pool, even a smaller wan for the kids. Best of all the manager and his staff, so kind and service minded, they really took care of us!

The pillows, I’m very sensitive for what kind of pillow I need to sleep at. A pretty small thing in the circumstances!

Superb

Very nice place. It is located a bit from the city and we used a car to move around. Thanks to being a bit remote, it was super quiet :). The view of the mountains was very nice. The pool was just super. It is big, deep. You can spend an entire day just there and do not move at all. As for the rooms. Big spacious, Air condition works great. All good. On top, to our positive surprise, the was a small breakfast as well.

Superb

There is great large pool next to the bar. The houses are spacious with air condition and 4 beds. Behind the resort about 200m there is hidden a restaurant run by same family as the resort. They serve variety of local dishes for good prices. I have to thank again to the owner for help. Our rented car get locked and could not be opened. The owner of the resort offered by himself a help, he went to Orikum to change a battery in the remote key and fixed the problem.

The WiFi signal is only around the bar and there is no power socket outside. There are mosquito. There is no sign anywhere to find the resort.

Peaceful place with a great pool!

Perfect place for a peaceful stay. A bit dislocated from the crowded area, just enough to enjoy, but also very close to all beaches which are 2-3 minutes drive away. GREAT clean pool just a step away from apartment! Perfect for swimming as it is 20m long! ...also there is a shallow part for small kids. It is never crowded as the is only eight accomodation units. Few steps away there is a restaurant from the same owner located on a small river where they keep fresh trout and pick it up on your order in front of you! Decent prices! Owner is very friendly and helpful. My sincere regards to Julio and his family!

Excellent vacation resort

I liked the pool was so close to the rooms and it was available for a night swim anytime you want. It was very nice, very clean, very quiet place, excellent for families with kids and also for couples...in one word the place is amaizing. I've been to many places around the world but this place gives you a special vacation feeling. The breakfast is simple but good enough and they even bring it to your room therase. I can only reccomend this place .

Lovely resort with amazing pool!

This is a lovely small family-run resort on the outskirts of Orikum. The rooms are great, equipped with a fridge and nice private bathroom. Our air-conditioning was broken when we arrived, but this got swiftly fixed by the owners. The pool is just great, and a welcome change to salty sea waters.

The breakfast is not the best, with only milk served and no availability of tea. Half-melted cold ham-and-cheese toasties, jam croissants from a package, a very small plate of fruits for 4 people, and a small salad with cherry tomatoes.. Can definitely be done better and with more love (the restaurant Te Zagolli is great!). Wifi not available inside the rooms, only outside / near the pool.

Very nice place to spend few days. To Orikum around 800m, but it has really nice swimming pool, so we prefer to stay there, instead of not very nice beach. Owners are really nice & kind

Zwembad was heerlijk. Fijne ligstoelen, schoon en lekker fris water. Rustig ook, ookal waren alle huisjes bezet.

Heerlijk verblijf op klein resort

Klein resortje met 10 (?) basic maar fijne huisjes en een mooi (diep) zwembad met duikplankje, voldoende ligstoelen en parasols. Hele aardige medewerkers die de hele dag aanwezig zijn, vooral de jongste bediende spreekt heel goed Engels, is super gastvrij en doet zijn uiterste best. Toppertje. Je kunt er drankjes halen bij het zwembad. Het dichtbijgelegen restaurant heeft een leuke setting, lekker eten, maar het personeel is niet bijzonder blij met ons. We vinden ze wat bokkig. Kan ook komen doordat hier praktisch niemand Engels spreekt en ze dat misschien ongemakkelijk vinden (al vinden wij dat zelf geen probleem, we redden ons wel). Ontbijt op het parkje is uitstekend, alles erop en eraan, koude of warme melk en koffie, sap of thee wat je wilt. Dikke aanrader. Parkeren kan op hun eigen (bescheiden) parkeerplaats. Voor bezoek aan strand of winkels heb je eigenlijk een auto nodig.

De airco in ons huisje maakte op de nachtstand meer lawaai dan op de "gewone" stand. Snel opgelost, dus geen echte tegenvaller.

Liebevoll familiär geführte Bungalows mit Allem, was man braucht!

Das Häuschen ist toll. Hohe Räume was sich sehr angenehm angefühlt hat. Es waren keine Gelsen. Überall Fliegengitter und das Bad geräumig mit großer Dusche! Der Pool ist tief, erfrischend und hat extrem komfortable Liegen. Es war total fein. Es gibt ein Sprungbrett und einen Kinderbereich. Das Frühstück war spitze! Frisches Obst, Schokocrossaints, Brot, selbstgemachte Marmelade sowie Käse und Butter, Eier, Saft und auch Cafe. Es war sehr gut! Daneben gibt es ein nettes, gutes Restaurant. Parkplatz im Areal.

Orikum war nicht recht ansprechend. Wir waren auf der Durchfahrt und haben eine Nacht hier übernachtet, da war das nicht relevant.

Een fijne accommodatie voor het hele gezin. Het ontbijt was lekker en compleet, en de eigenaar was erg vriendelijk. Het zwembad was een mooie extra en zeker een pluspunt.
