Really clean, friendly staff, unbelievably good food
Changing the beach towels every second day. The shower facilities for the late check out were kind of gross.

We had an amazing time at Enorme Ammos Beach Hotel in Crete — honestly one of our top stays ever! From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed.
The food was absolutely fantastic — both breakfast and dinner had so many varieties and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The swimming pool area was beautiful and relaxing, and the hotel even offered us a free 15-minute massage, which was such a nice touch.
The beach was just a few steps away, very clean, and the food and drinks there were lovely too. We also enjoyed some great shisha by the beach — one of our favorite moments!
It was my wife’s birthday during our stay, and although we didn’t mention it or ask for anything special, the hotel surprised us with a birthday cake and candle waiting by our room door. Such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture — it truly made our day!
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We can’t wait to come back again!

Very nice and comfortable room. Very clean overall. The bathroom looks amazing. We had an amazing view over the pool and part of the beach.
The breakfast choices were plenty and the dinner was delicious.
The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Enorme Ammos Beach is a charming boutique hotel located right on the beach and reserved for adults only, which created a peaceful and stylish atmosphere – at least during the day. The hotel was clean and in a perfect seaside location, with direct access both to the beach and the pool area. The pool area was never overcrowded, and there were always sunbeds available.
I especially enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner buffets – the food was delicious, and the dinner selection changed every evening, which kept things interesting. Even the wines on the drink menu were reasonably priced. In the evening, it was lovely to sit at the hotel bar, enjoy a cocktail, and watch the sea.
Whatever you do, do not book a room facing the street or with a private pool. The main road passes right by, and at night it turns into a noisy parade route for drunk tourists, scooters, and other traffic. Our room was above one of the private pools, and the guests there partied every single night until sunrise. We complained to the staff several times, but nothing changed.
When we asked to change rooms, we were offered a smaller and even worse one – facing the parking lot full of motorbikes, which probably contributed to the noise anyway.
I also didn't appreciate how the hotel handled complaints. The staff was polite but seemed more focused on the next guests. Since they already had our money, we no longer seemed like a priority. No real solution to the noise issue was offered.
There was also no gym at the hotel, which was disappointing.
Overall, this area seems more suitable for young partygoers. If in the past it was full of loud Russian tourists, now the British have taken over the role – loud, drunk, and restless. I can’t understand how they can drink so much and shout all night long.
