Fabulously peaceful stay in a beautiful apartment

I have just finished a most pleasant stay at this lovely apartment in Trieste. Very much as shown in the photos Rivabahn is more than comfortable and has probably the best equiped kitchen I have experienced in a holiday apartment. I was treated so kindly and with great concern when I inadvertently left my wallet in a taxi.(A story with a very happy ending I'm grateful to report!). While the apartment being on the 2nd floor in a palazzo without a lift may be an issue for some, for me even as a quite unfit senior, it did not prove problematic. Most wonderful for me was the peace and tranquility that I found there. I highly recommend Rivabahn!

Homely Apartment

The host couple were easy and pleasant to deal with. The apartment was quaint, cosy (yet spacious), super clean and efficient. There were items of food for our use and all kitchen utensils if you desire cooking your own meals. The apartment is located close to the main shopping area. Plenty of supermarkets and cafes within walking distance. A bus from the train station takes you very close to the apartment. Excellent place to stay for a while or a few days.

There are a few flights of stairs to get to the apartment. Keeps you fit!

I can't stress enough how wonderful this flat is. It's in a beautiful old palazzo in a really central position, and is brimming with character. It is extremely spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Roberta was a fantastic host, meeting me on arrival and sharing lots of very valuable tips about this amazing city. I highly recommend this exceptional property.

Really cosy place, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, friendly host, small but equipped bathroom (the water temperature was bit instabile). There was some reconstruction of facade going on, but it did not affected our stay at all.

Amazing apartment in a great location to explore Trieste.

It was extremely well equipped and very spacious. The location was amazing although it was up a little hill, but we didn’t mind the short walk. The flat is really cozy which makes you feel like at home. The hosts are also amazing and really helpful with tips etc. I look forward to staying there again :)

Perfect place. Everything was perfect. Perfect. Did I already say perfect?

I honestly wouldn't know where to start from in order to describe how I felt in this place. You basically have a beautiful flat in the gorgeous Trieste all for yourself. I literally felt at home straight away, not only because of the look and the facilities of the flat itself but also for the warm welcoming received by the owners. Roberta and Francesco are such lovely people, helpful and kind. They know a lot about Trieste's history and the places to see or where to eat (you can also find lots of leaflets in the living room that helps you with that as well!). The whole flat is tidy and clean, you've got air condition if needed, lots of comfy pillows and a big bed. You have food and drinks left in the kitchen for your breakfast/lunch/dinner. Honestly, I didn't want to leave that place, the perfect accommodation in a perfect city. I've already recommended it to family and friends! And it wasn't my case but if you have kids there's a special room just for them with lot of things to do. The amazing hosts really thought about everything and everyone.

Large apartment near center.

Spacious apartment; large bedroom and large well appointed kitchen with washing machine 10 minutes from Center. Very clean. Hosts were friendly and responsive. Large fridge and gourmet coffee machine.

A great place to stay!

A good location on a quiet street in the centre of Trieste, about five minutes walking distance to the main square. The apartment is spacious and well equipped for just about anything you might need, from cooking to laundry. There are games and toys for kids, and they even pre-stocked some food and drinks. Everything is new or well preserved, and thoughtfully designed. The host are a friendly couple, and very accommodating. We will certainly come back, and I recommend it to everyone else!

Alojamiento en Trieste

Apartamento bastante céntrico en segunda planta SIN ascensor (creo que debería comentarse claramente en la descripción del alojamiento). Tanto la habitación principal como la cocina son muy grandes y hay un hall con un sofá a modo de salón. Todo está limpísimo y los anfitriones son muy amables. Desafortunadamente el baño es minúsculo, apenas es posible moverse en él o colocar las toallas o neceseres y la ducha, de 60 cm x 60 cm, es incomodísima, yo apenas cabía dentro.

Franz y Roberta son encantadores , nos ayudaron con las maletas, nos dejaron desayuno , agua,el apartamento está a todo detalle , limpio y con todo lo necesario para la estancia , menaje, toallas, etc Pero sin duda lo mejor los anfitriones, si algún día vuelvo a Trieste no dudaré en repetir. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Die Unterkunft ist viel geräumiger, als sie auf den Fotos erscheint. Da stört das kleine Badezimmer überhaupt nicht. Die Wohnung ist zudem mit allem ausgestattet, was es auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt braucht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Il Rivabahn è una tappa che incornicia in tutto la splendida Città di Trieste. Posizione strategia, a pochi minuti dal centro a piedi. La struttura è molto accogliente e pulita, adatta anche a bambini. Curata nei minimi dettagli,non ci manca praticamente nulla. La consiglio vivamente.
