Evening Star Engine Shed

The location is excellent and an oasis of calm and peace in a very busy Whitby. Everything is easy to walk to and having parking included is a big positive as it's not easy to find in the town centre. The flat itself is very nice and is comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the quirkiness of staying in a location beside the railway tracks and were not disturbed by trains at al really as they are infrequent, and don't make much noise as they are moving slowly into a terminus.

The double bed is a small one but perfectly comfortable, but that is a minor comment as we thoroughly enjoyed the flat and would definitely book again to stay in Whitby.

Very comfortable, stylish and modern apartment. Excellent communication from host. Brilliant location, only 5 minutes walk to the harbour but very quiet and lovely view.

The property was well-equipped and clean. Additionally, each apartment was allocated a parking bay in a secure garage which is very useful if you have a car. The information pack and welcome notes were a wonderful read. The owners have taken great care in documenting the historical links of the property to its railway past - a very nice touch. The owners were also very thoughtful in providing some milk, butter, jam, tea bags, coffee, sugar, biscuits and croissants.

The bedroms had small wardrobes and there was not much storage space so we couldn't stow away large suitcases. A small amount of salt and some oil would be handy too in addition to the other essentials and goodies already provided. Slight niggles that did not spoil our stay at all.
