Tornado Engine Shed

The location is perfect, right on the railway, but train noise really didn't impact us. Close to everything, and having parking on site was VERY convenient and with free car charging which was very thoughtful. The accommodation was very good, comfortable, spacious, well equipped in an amazing location.

Being a family of 4 we should have asked to have 2 x single beds in one of the rooms, as it turned out there was a King bed in each room. The towel rail in the en-suite did seem to ever come on to help dry towels. It was on a pre-set timer, but never seemed to click on. All-in-all very minor stuff.

We have stayed in Whitby many times and this stay has to be the best so far, the underground parking facilities are perfect, car nice and secure makes a big difference, really easy access in & out of the property with only a short walk into town, 2 bedrooms (1 with an ensuite), the heating was easy to control in every room, everything we needed was here, a home from home, thanks for the welcome pack as well (saved me a walk to the shops to get some milk after a long drive), can't wait to book our next trip to Whitby, if you are looking to book an excellent apartment with parking and easy access to the town centre you couldn't go wrong coming here. The whole property was fantastic including the Easter welcome package, the apartment was super clean, would definitely recommend.

The WiFi wasn't the best, as it kept dropping out, which sometimes affected the TV.

Fantastic location, we were able to cover Whitby on foot without worrying about finding a parking place. The garage was secure and there are bonus parking spaces for larger vehicles or if car park busier. We mainly ate out during our stay, but facilities for if you wanted to cook were amazing - there wasnt an appliance missing. Jo accommodated a later check out due to illness and it made the last day so much easier to us.

Only criticism would be the firmness of the mattresses, think these will soften over time so didn't sour the stay or anything. Maybe some blinds in the bedroom too as room was quite light when the sun came up.
