Not as good it should have been the property was grubby

Location was excellent, parking v close

No wardrobes for a week stay, lack of pint pots, lack of T towels, cleanliness was poor, a lot of dust on the blinds, the carpets were dirty and the walls were grubby

We liked the kitchen dining area. There was plenty of pots, pans and cutlery. The beds were comfortable.

Little things really. The room I was in whilst there was a mirror in the bathroom there wasn’t a mirror in the bedroom making it difficult to blow dry my hair. The shower had no tray to hold soap , shampoo etc.

Excellent spacious property, well equipped, family friendly at a reasonable price. We'll be back!

Our family group, 10 in total, were very happy with the premises. Rooms are spacious, clean and user friendly, there were plenty of baths and toilets, the kitchen was well equipped and the location suited us well in that it wasn't too far from any of the attractions but it was on the opposite side of the river to the daytime crowds - essential when you have children to get to bed! Noise from traffic wasn't a problem even in rooms facing the road. The layout suited us well - there was plenty of space for us all without being on top of each other and the main room was great for family meals in that we could all sit comfortably around the dining table at mealtimes.

Opening and closing the key box was a bit tricky on occasion because the cover kept flipping down and the mechanism for unlocking was a bit stiff. The single bed in one of the family rooms had a damaged support underneath the mattress (discovered when we were trying to find a toy). My grandson is a slightly built five year old and was never in the room alone so we assume it was damaged before we arrived. An extra car parking space would have been useful for our party of 10, no way were 2 spaces enough!

Lovely place that could easily be made even better

The location and having two parking spaces. The open plan lounge kitchen diner worked well with a small sitting room on the ground floor if you needed a quiet space.

The Venetian blinds in the bedrooms let in too much light for a comfortable good night's sleep. At least one twin room with single beds would have worked better for our party rather than all five bedrooms having a double or king sized bed with just one single bed in one of the rooms.

Mini break with friends

The couches in both lounges were comfortable. The kitchen area was a good space but disappointing that the dining table only had 8 chairs when we were a group of 10. The utility was a good area to leave boots and coats.

Coffee machine did not work. Washing up liquid bottle was left but nothing in it. The heating was not on when we arrived so the whole house was freezing. The cleanliness was not the best and the walls and paintwork definitely need looking at. The stairs up to the first floor are exceptionally loud and creaky- definitely need looking at.

Lovely house perfect for a group!

Lovely property, a 10 minute walk to the centre of Whitby, the kitchen was well stocked with cutlery/glasses etc, great open plan living area for socialising.

The group felt the property wasn’t overly clean - there was crumbs on the bar stools, old food was found behind a bedside table, lots of mould in the en suite & the carpets need a good hoover & clean.

Superb

Great location. Near the centre of Whitby but far enough away to be quiet. Easy walking distance. Good range of double rooms and plenty of space to relax.

Parking for two cars only but this is not a problem as there is free parking nearby. It's worth taking some dishwasher tablets, tea towels and bin liners if you are planning on doing much cooking.

The property is in need of repainting. There were lots of scuff marks on walls etc. The parking arrangements between the various properties in the courtyard caused confusion.

The only little niggle was the parking as one couple had to park in a public car park, as its a five bedroom house, surprised there isnt more parking spaces to be honest so Whitby is not the best place to find a space away from the property..

House in a great location. Very clean.

Parking area is a bit tight in courtyard if all spaces being used. Living room area could possibly benefit from a couple of lamps rather than having main lights on all the time. But not a major issue.
