Clean and bright rooms, great location

The property was a fabulous size and in a perfect location, beds were comfortable.the bedding was very clean and the towels were reasonable,the kitchen was well equipped and the sitting area was comfortable.
The house wasn’t particularly clean, there was a lot of dust and dirt,the carpets looked like they needed a proper vacumn especially around the skirting boards.
When entering the building it didn’t smell at all pleasant, the downstairs toilet/shower smelt of sewerage and didn’t get much better when going further into the house,it was so unpleasant that I had to go and buy some air fresher so it smelt better for when the rest of the family arrived,a few air fresheners wouldn’t have gone a miss.
The kitchen was good apart from the cracked hob, the rusting kettle with water still in it, a sticky counter top and floor and dirty blinds,which carried on throughout the house regarding the floors and blinds.
The amount of money they charge for cleaning I would expect it to be so much cleaner than it was.

Location was excellent, parking v close
No wardrobes for a week stay, lack of pint pots, lack of T towels, cleanliness was poor, a lot of dust on the blinds, the carpets were dirty and the walls were grubby
