Minnie's Cottage, Killeavy

John and Joan were great hosts and Minnie's cottage was a great for us on a family trip. We arrived to the cottage to find a welcome pack which was a lovely gesture from the hosts and the cottage met our expectations in every way. It was comfortable and cosy with a stove fire to enjoy in the evenings and had all the facilities we needed for a break away with our young son. He loved playing in the garden with the cats and exploring around the countryside there. The cottage is a great location nice and quiet if you want a chilled break and central to many places for activities if you want to keep busy as we did and then enjoy the cosy cottage at the end of the day. We loved reading through the book about how John and Joan found the cottage and then built it into the property it is today - they have done a great job and it is definitely somewhere we would love to come back to again.
