I actually booked this thinking i was near to the venue we were going every day for a week yes it was a bit away but don't regret it the cottage made it all worth it loved everything about it and would recommend it and price very good.

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at Minnie’s Cottage and couldn’t have asked for more. The property was absolutely spotless on arrival & the information folder was so useful as it explained how everything works within the cottage. Its location was perfect for us, as it gave easy access to visit family in both Meigh and Newry. The welcome pack was such a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated after our journey. John & Joan, the owners, went above and beyond to assist us with any of the requests we had during our stay - their hospitality truly stood out. The cottage itself is full of charm & history, well-equipped, and provides a peaceful base to relax after a busy day. The wood burning stove was a big hit in the evenings for a cosy ambiance (note: the central heating works perfectly well & keeps the house warm should you not want the fire lit).
We would highly recommend Minnie’s Cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-situated place to stay. I’ve stayed in numerous houses / apartments via booking.com (and other sites) over the last 10+ years, and Minnie’s Cottage is definitely one of my top five favourites !
Some caution is required when driving in/out of the property but that certainly wouldn’t put us off booking again , after all the area has lots of little country roads / homes that have the same issue
