    Disappointed
    The bed was very comfy and the furnitures were new. There is a brand new hair dryer which is nice.
    There was a jacuzzi but it had problem. When you open the water jet, the cutout switch was thrown. Also, inside of the jacuzzi was not clean so we wanted to refill water, but they said that water is fresh, you don't have to refill water. So we could not use it. Hot water was a big big problem. Nobody said that you should turn on water heater. One morning, i had to have shower with cold water, because there is no hot water. Even if you turn on heater, the hot water is not enough for two person to take a shower. Another big problem was communication, nobody knows english we cannot communicate clearly. PERLA Apartments was a nice place but ,there is a huge but, they should take more way to run accommodation business. There is no professional service.

    Great location and perfect accommodation
    Exactly as expected. Easy check in and room was very clean. Great location for everything in the city. A parking space was a bonus as it’s very hard to park in peak season.

    Did Not Meet Expectations
    i) Our room and bathroom were really nicely furnished, clean and the bed really comfortable. The bathroom had a rain shower and complimentary toiletries were provided. The air-conditioning, ceiling fan and free Wi-Fi all worked well. There was also a fridge for use ii) Access to our room was available via lift or stairs iii) Free parking was onsite in a secure underground car park iv) Breakfast was available in the Perla Restaurant (lower floor of building), with an excellent range of options from which to choose v) The location was excellent with the Old Town, restaurants and beaches being within a 5-minute walk
    i) We had great difficulty ascertaining where the reception was, as the building is a high rise with many different companies managing the apartments. Even a local managing agent who worked in the building could not assist. When the telephone contact number for Apartments Perla was called, there was no answer. Eventually, the managing agent suggested we ask at Perla Restaurant and ‘lo and behold’, the persons managing Apartments Perla had their office set up there. It would have been nice if clear check in location directions were provided once the reservation was confirmed. ii) We were shown to our room and it was discovered that the door frame was somehow damaged, so the entry door would not close. We were then offered an alternate room which was smaller but had a jacuzzi iii) We were then given our keys with nothing explained about the workings within our room or the jacuzzi, nor provided with any local information iv) Once in our room, we discovered that the safe would not open and there was no globe in a bedside lamp.

    Amaizing experience!
    we had the best time at Perla!! For real , I had the best sleep there in months. rooms are new and well furnished. jakuzzi is just excellent. location is great, 1 min walk to Old Town and beach. and to top it all they have a restaurant where the food is to die for. breakfast is excellent , but we had all our meals there as we liked it very much. staff is all friendly and helpful

    Could be so much better
    Breakfast was very nice and great quality, with lots to choose from and nice coffee. The room itself is actually a very nice room, it's tastefully decorated and the furnishings are of very good quality. The bed is comfortable with a 4K Smart TV to watch at the foot if the bed. There are large windows leading out to the outside area, and large blackout curtains. The WIFI is strong and we could easily stream via our phones to the TV, or log into Disney+ etc (though this was not free and used my own account) There is plenty of storage for clothes. Good aircon and a ceiling fan. Outside area with table and two chairs. The bathroom is very nice also, with quality fittings and a very nice shower. Location of the apartments is good and only 5 minutes walk to the old town or the harbour. The free underground parking is a plus and very secure, just be sure to reserve before you arrive. Overall the room is very nice, just let down by small easily rectified issues and poor communication from the representative, who seems uninterested or inexperienced in this side of hospitality. I also got the impression that she didn't like us from the start and was not very welcoming the few times i did speak to her (maybe she doesn't like all male couples?)
    Parking and check in instructions were not clear. Some light switches were hanging off the walls. Main door in hallway doesn't close from the outside as it was broken. Bed sheet doesn't fit the bed. Duvet for a double bed was two single duvets. Multiple remote controls in the room with no apparent use, as didn't operate anything Old TV system left gathering dust. Smells occasionally from the restaurant below in the room. The mini fridge empty and makes noises every hour or so. No way of making a hot drink and no bottled water in the room. And no glasses in the room to drink from either. When we arrived the representative didn't ask for my name or our passports and gave very little information eg. Heeting hot water, TV, Breakfast etc Went back to see here later with our passports and to ask about breakfast times. She did assist with organising the tourist tax, which was a big help 🙂 In the morning i went to the restaurant for breakfast and said good morning to the representative. I ordered my food, which was very nice, but the waitress didn't realise i was a guest and the apartment representative didn't tell them i was a guest either, which led to an awkward conversation with the waitress who tried to charge me for it. All could have been avoided if i had been given instructions regarding ordering breakfast or it had been pointed out that i was a guest. Only stayed for 3 nights, but not once was the room cleaned or towels refreshed. Overall the room is very nice, just let down by small easily rectified issues and poor communication from the representative, who seems uninterested or inexperienced in this side of hospitality. I also got the impression that she didn't like us from the start and was not very welcoming the few times i did speak to her (maybe she doesn't like all male couples?)

    Superb
    Great room, chic repairs, nice terrace with greenery. Comfortable free underground parking. Breakfasts in the restaurant are included! The building itself is very unusual, there is greenery on the terraces. The entrance is beautiful.
    The room is located on the first floor, the view is limited, but there are trees on the terrace, it is quite pleasant to spend time on it.
