About this house rental
Welcome to our cottage, where you'll love spending time with your family and friends!! This is a cozy little place nestled at the very end of a quiet road in Wayland on Cobb Lake and has just been remodeled from top to bottom! You will enjoy sunshine, swimming, roasting marshmallows, turtle catching, ice skating, fishing, sledding, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, gorgeous sunsets and so much more here. The cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed, one 1/2 bathroom, one full bathroom with tub, one large loft with 4 built in twin beds, a huge living room overlooking the lake with a queen pull out sectional, a full kitchen and eating area for 8+ diners as well as on site laundry. This cottage is clean, non-smoking, pet-free, comes fully furnished with all utensils needed to cook and eat, bath towels and bed linens. There is a large driveway for parking that is uncovered. There is a front porch and back porch that gives beautiful views of the lake. Heat and air-conditioning makes for a comfortable environment year round. Outdoors host a large firepit with plenty of chairs, a picnic table, a dining table and patio furniture. There are 6 children's kayaks for their entertainment during the warm summer months!

Cobb Lake was just like we remembered taking our children there for 17 years now we had the opportunity to enjoy with our grandchildren. The lake is shallow and clean and easy access for children as well as my 88 year old mother who enjoyed getting into the water. The cottage was cute and the right size.

Cobb Lake is beautiful, with clear water and was very quiet during our stay. Water was shallow and clear out 150-200 feet. Cabin is newly renovated and very functional for a family. We enjoyed our stay very much and will look to book again.

Water was very clean and clear! We had a great time. The only thing I would do different is bring our own kayaks or rent a place that has adult kayaks. They have several kids kayaks but nothing for adults to get out on the water. But our very friendly neighbor let us borrow theirs! Saved our trip! We could get out with our kids and kayak with them!
