Where rustic living meets serene countryside bliss, welcome to the Iconic Ivy Lakehouse. This tasteful estate boasts an impressive blend of simplicity and comfort all while enveloped by gorgeous views of the picturesque 660-acre, all-sports lake, Pine Lake. Situated on its own sandy corner with 117 feet of lake frontage, this residence offers privacy and seclusion while still being conveniently located near city amenities.
You can rent a pontoon boat from us and it will be at the property, ready to go. Send us a message if interested in renting. It is not included in the booking fees, fyi!

The entire beach house consisting of 9 bedrooms, 15 beds, 2 full bathrooms, 1 half bathroom, a house-long porch, and a private beachfront, will give you a bounty of space to live your Michigan dream! Each of this retreat’s bedrooms offers different sleeping arrangements and is ideal for hosting large gatherings. The character and charm of The Ivy Lodge at Pine Lake will captivate you for a unique and family-friendly stay!
The main floor has 3 bedrooms, a bright & open living area w/access to the expansive lakeside covered deck and the 2 full bathrooms are on this floor. Original wood floors are throughout the cottage. The 2nd floor has 6 bedrooms to choose from. There is room for up to 21 adults to sleep. The walkout level features a large kitchen area w/all appliances, a center island w/stainless steel countertop & seating for 4+, ample dining & living space, bath & laundry, and a half bath.
We provide 4 kayaks for your use on the lake at no extra charge.
Relax and unwind on the beautiful back porch that spans the length of the home, offering stunning views of the lakefront. With plenty of comfortable seating to fit all your guests, this porch is the perfect spot to enjoy the tranquility and fun of the surroundings. The estate also features two large private docks for easy access to the lake`s sparkling waters. Guests are welcome to use the estate’s kayak, paddle board, swim raft, and swim vests for fun for the whole family! In addition to the spacious porch, the property boasts a fire pit right on the beachfront. With its perfect East-facing view, you can bask in gorgeous sunrises and drink your morning coffee from the long back porch or sandy fire pit space.
Activities Throughout the Seasons:
Spring and Summer: Enjoy the budding trees and blooming flowers as you explore the surrounding countryside. Take leisurely walks along the lakefront, go fishing off the dock, or simply relax and soak in the beauty of nature. You can rent a boat right next door as well as soon as it gets warm enough for boating season.
Fall: Experience the vibrant colors of autumn as the foliage transforms into a kaleidoscope of reds, oranges, and yellows. Take scenic drives through the countryside, go hiking in nearby parks, or gather around the fire pit for smores.
Winter: Embrace the tranquility of winter with activities like ice fishing, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing on the frozen lake. Hit the slopes for skiing and snowboarding adventures at Bittersweet Ski Resort.
Gun Lake Casino is located 18.4 miles away, Gun Lake Casino is a midsize casino offers table games & slots plus a food court with chain restaurants & a 24/7 cafe. There is also live music.
Gun lake Wawye Oasis is a destination like no other and is located at Gun Lake. Important note for the colder months before you book:
The Ivy Lodge is an iconic lakefront property built in the late 1800`s so there is no furnace in the house because of the age of the home. However, we have a large gas unit in the kitchen, a gas unit on the wall of the first floor. We also have an electric wall unit on the lower level, and an electric wall unit on the 1st floor. We also have space heaters for rooms.
Guest have access to the whole house.
The Ivy Lodge is an iconic lake front property built in the late 1800`s. We do our absolute best to maintain a clean bug free experience, and there is an exterminator appointment every 2nd day of the month at 10am. However, some bugs will be around due to the location right on the lake.
Minimum age to book is 25

The kitchen is on the bottom floor and is a great set up for large groups. There is a large seating area in the basement . The lake view was wonderful and the weather this weekend could not have been better. I would recommend shopping in town before arriving if wanting a larger selection of items. The bathrooms did not have shower soap or body wash, but the host was very responsive and brought those items over. Some of the furniture and cushions inside and outside need to be replaced/updated, but the ambience of the place was so great. It dates back to circa 1900 so it was very charming with lots of character. This was perfect for all of us. We had 5 couples and there were still beds and bedrooms to spare!

We had a wonderful multi-family vacation here! We loved the water access, many bedrooms, and large group eating spaces. We found the house reasonably well stocked with essentials. (There were a few disposable items that we had to purchase for a group of 15 for the length of our stay.) The lake access was great for swimming, boating, and fishing (although the rocky/dock entry would have been challenging if we had had littles 2 and under). It was not the cleanest VRBO I have stayed at… but what we saw was mostly sand, dust, and cobwebs… nothing truly concerning. The beds were comfortable and clean. It was a rustic and charming house that made for a memorable family getaway.

We had a wonderful time with our family, the home was large enough to accommodate us all. We rented a pontoon next door at the marina the gentleman wan very nice and price was extremely reasonable. We’re looking forward to making this trip again.
