Amazing location if you love horses and cycling around quiet villages and hamlets.
Very friendly hosts, well equipped gite. Lovely to have some coffee pods too.
Very safe, the complex was a secure, gated area.
The steps up to the gite are very steep and a bit wobbly. Fine for me but if you’ve any mobility problems then this isn’t the gite for you.

The location was lovely with secure parking for our car. We were met when we arrived and shown into the apartment. The apartment is well equipped, great kitchen and shower room, and was warm. The bed mattress was firm but that suited us and we slept well, the horses are below the apartment, I occasionally heard them when I woke up, they were not the reason for me waking. We were well aware that we were staying on a working equestrian centre so when we woke up to the sound of the stables being cleaned on the first morning it wasn't a problem- this isn't a daily occurrence. We received a text from the owner apologising.
We had a slight problem when there was a leak from the kitchen sink but this was resolved quickly between ourselves and the owner.
I would like to go back in the summer as there is a nice out door seating area and bbq.
The stairs up to the apartment are wooden and need handled with care- wouldn't recommend if you have mobility problems, If coming back after dark take a torch with you for getting back into the apartment.
The town of Agencies is a 5 min drive where there is big supermarket and a fab chocolate shop.
There wasn't anything I disliked about the apartment. The location was what brought us here as it is close to friends.
Stairs up to the apartment would be my only point for consideration for anyone with mobility problems or young children. We managed them without a problem, with care.

The accommodation was brand new and well fitted out. The directions to find the property worked well but we did have google maps to assist.
You are located upstairs and overlook a beautifully cared for indoor riding arena which was massive. In addition there are two outside riding arena and horse stables. The horses are clearly well careful for and I am not a horse person. My wife, who is, loved it and is sorry that she did not take up the offer to ride one of the horses. She enjoyed watching Hubert ride.
If you are a horse person you must stay here. I will advising all the ones I know to go there.
