About this house rental
This waterfront home is 2200 square ft with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. There are 4 king beds, 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds. This house sleeps 10 comfortably and is a great layout for larger groups. The kitchen has a great layout as well with plenty of room for a buffet style family dinner. Featuring granite countertops and 2 dish washers to make cleanup a breeze. Also if you want to sit down for a family dinner there is dining space for 10 people. Other great amenities include Central air, back patio with a charcoal grill and a large fenced back yard for your dog as well.
The location can’t get much better being only 3 miles from Traverse city and a half a mile from Traverse city Yacht club and Marina. We are also only 20 min from Sleeping Bear dunes and Empire beach. Other activities in the area include golfing, boating, wine tasting, shopping, 2 casinos, kayaking, biking etc...

The house was nice, but there were several amenities that were lacking. Firstly, please let your guests know that the beach may appear sandy, but in fact it is very rocky! you could not go in the water without water shoes. It would have been nice to know this is advance. Next the bath towels. I'm sorry but when I'm spending 4500 to stay a house, I expect things to seem fairly new. The towels seemed to be 20yrs old. They were very ratty. Lastly, We are a family that likes to cook. If you are the same way, bring your own knives. The only "chopping" knives she had were steak knives and a very dull small paring knife that didn't cut a thing. Oh and be prepared to live out of your suitcase. Lots of beds, one in every corner, but not a single dresser for drawers to put things in.
