Great stay near the beach in Naxos

The worst

Upon arrival at 8 pm in the evening after a gruesome day of traveling all we wanted to do is check in to our accommodation and rest. We called the person in charge as agreed when we got to the port. We were informed that they didn't actually have a room for us within walking distance of the port (we had booked one night only as we were heading to Plaka the next day and we had specifically chosen this place based on the fact that it was a short walk from the port) They told us dont worry we have another room for you in a place near the castle. Since we had been to Naxos before we knew what a difficult walk that would be for us up the hill, narrow stairs at night with luggage. We said that we dont agree and would like our room that we booked. We were not offered pick up or any apologies just told rudely that the room they were offering us was better. We decided that we didn't want the hassle and cancelled our booking. We ended up staying in a port hotel which cost us double and alot of frustration.

Don't book this place. They are notorious for doing this kind of thing to people. Naxos has wonderful places to stay where you are treated with respect and care. This is not one of them.

The towels and linen although were clean were a little tired and dingy, needed an upgrade, some were torn and frayed. Clean towels each day though. Only 1 small wine glass to share between 2 people 😂

Great property and lovely rooftop pool. Good location.

Lovely decorated units. We had four units for our group. WiFi was ok in 3 of the rooms but very spotty in one. Rooms are just like the photos. Very lovely. Rooftop pool was lovely. Only minor issue was we were not sure on how to check in. We walked to the property from the port and tried to contact via phone which did not work and waited 15minutes until someone arrived to show us to our rooms. (This could have been communicated a bit better)

Communication about checkin would have been preferred.

Firstly, the staff were so kind from the moment we booked the hotel up to the moment we left to the airport. They gave us a different room from what we booked. We booked the standard room and they gave us one with a Jacuzzi. That was so nice of them. The Jacuzzi was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony was very nice too. it was nice to have a seating area in the room. We had a little kitchen and the private bathroom. The staff were there literally 24 seven you could text them and they will reply and the only thing that they don’t have is a reception which is not needed really. they called get us a taxi and it was like so good. They helped us with our stay and our arrival they’re just amazing. Maria many thanks for everything.

The only thing that we didn’t really enjoy was the small space for our clothing. We stayed for a week so we were too, and we didn’t have enough space in order to hang our clothes. We only got five six hangers.

Fabulous!

had an amazing stay at the Majestique of Naxos Boutique Hotel, Greece! From the moment we arrived, Maria, the host, was incredibly accommodating and friendly. She even helped us with our luggage and upgraded us to a bigger room when she noticed we had more bags. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The location is perfect, within walking distance to all the main attractions. Maria went above and beyond to help us with directions, taxis, and even gave us a late check-out. I highly recommend this accommodation—definitely worth every penny!

Central, Beautiful, & Noisy

Location in relation to the city center & beach is FABULOUS! Host was SUPER FRIENDLY, attentive, caring, and did all in his power to help me. BIG bubble bath. Beautiful interior design.

Noisy. It is JUST by the road. Literally opening the door and the Naxos main road is just outside this specific apartment. Dirt and dust under the bed, old plastic bag, a cigarette. Cleaner is obviously in a rush. Blanket smelled of muld. I am very sound/smell sensitive and if you are too. Then this is not the place for you. IF, you are not. It is a wonderful place.

We were contacted prior to arrival and met at the door with our key. The suite was spotless and contained everything we needed for a few days. The jacuzzi was a lovely bonus. The bed was comfortable and the shower and en-suite good. Just a few minutes walk from beaches and the lovely town of Naxos.

I enjoyed it thoroughly, nothing was too hard!!!

Everything, it was perfect as the owners were also. From the moment we walked in, we were taken care of and treated like royalty. Majestique is known to be one of the most popular hotel/studios to stay in, not only did she take care of me, she made sure that dad and I had the best rooms and offered around the clock service, this being when I got lost at 1 in the morning she assisted me on how to get home !!! Incredible, she was always available and even organised my washing and drove me to one of the destinations I needed to go. I couldn’t speak more highly of Maria, I appreciate you so much Maria, I will tell all my friends about you and we will come back to Naxos. Room was always cleaned and left spotless also, pool upstairs and view is fantastic, especially when the sunsets. Very clean !!!!

Location was a bit far from the port, need to take a taxi to the location from the port if you have a lot of luggage, however if you are traveling light , it’s a 15min walk (more or less) to the property.

Exceptional

Great location - 10 min walk from the ferry port, less to the town. 3 min walk to the beach. Restaurants, cafes and shops at the end of road. Room exceptionally clean and comfortable. Iron and proper full size hair dryer provided. Lovely Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Roof top pool is small but absolutely beautiful. The housekeeping lady was very pleasant and friendly and rooms were cleaned daily to high standard. Janis met us on arrival - he us friendly and welcoming and at at the other end of the phone if needed. We stayed here while travelling around some of the other islands and this was the best property we stayed at. Very pleasant stay and would highly recommend. Thank you.

Beautiful apartment in a excellent Location!

Could not recommend this place enough! The accommodation was clean and had everything you need, Beach towels, iron, Bath, robe and slippers etc. The location of the apartment was the important factor. Literally an eight minute walk to the beach and in the centre of Naxos town near to the restaurants and supermarkets. The rooftop pool was a lovely place to relax!

Nothing! The only other improvements would be add a couple more sun lounges on the roof terrace.

Beautifully designed. Immaculately clean. Rooftop pool was perfect. Maria and Yannis incredibly helpful. Great location on the edge of town centre but away from the busy-ness and chaos. Easy walk to port and bus station and lots of beautiful local eateries close by.

Air con didn’t work first night - some sort of signal failure between the remote and the unit but easily resolved the next day.
