The property could do with an upgrade. Aircon works but makes a lot of noise. Shower is small and water gets all over the floor so be careful with kids as they could slip and fall. Pillows are not too comfortable.

The staff were very helpful

No hot water the first morning. To get into the toilet you had to step into shower so you could shut the door. We ordered sea view with balcony which is what we got BUT to get to the room you had to walk up the stairs to the balcony then open your door which was on the balcony so you had no privacy or security and had to lock the door at night. The first night we were thinking about were to eat and the restaurant closed at 6.30 we pay full price for this hotel and was not informed of this before we got there. I could go on! We are island hopping and have had lovely accommodation up till now(although I must say the island is wonderful)

Nice hotel in a good location right on the beach

Very friendly welcome and room handover already in the morning. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Very good location, right on the beach, with some taverns and beach bars. The old town of Náxos (Chóra) and the harbor can be reached in about ten minutes on foot. Breakfast (à la carte) is served in the hotel's bar/restaurant by the extremely friendly staff.

Given the high room rates, the hotel should offer a free transfer to the port/airport. An insect screen on the room window would be very nice. Unfortunately, the outside unit of the A/C in the neighboring room was very loud, which definitely will be an issue for noise-sensitive guests. (Perhaps this can be fixed by a service?)

Beautiful beach location with a modern twist!

Fantastic location right on the beach, staff so attentive and had no issue with a few stragglers joining us for a few drinks on their arrival to Naxos!!. Food delicious too and would highly recommend! A++

Great hotel in a perfect location, right on the beach. Included breakfast was amazing with alot of choices. I would choose this hotel again.

The room was on the smaller side but didnt distract from our stay. They also didnt prepare the 2nd bedroom/bed which was just a misunderstanding and soon rectified.

Perfect Holiday Spot

Great location to beach and walkable to town centre. Convenient supermarket and laundry very close by, plus many restaurants. Good size, clean rooms with basic utensils in the basement rooms, and own outdoor areas. Helpful reception staff, beautiful beach view to enjoy your breakfast. Beach beds available directly across the road from this accommodation make it a perfect place to enjoy a beach holiday on Naxos

Not a big negative but breakfast is not started until 8.30am which can mean missing the included breakfast if you have an early flight or have a day trip planned

False advertising, filthy conditions, and unsafe stay

This hotel is a disgrace. The room was in the basement with no windows, something deliberately hidden in the description and photos — clear false advertising. The hygiene was appalling: the shower was full of someone else’s hair, the stairs were covered in sand, and the kettle had green mold-like residue inside. Absolutely unacceptable and unsafe. When we raised these issues, the staff were not just unhelpful but openly rude and dismissive, telling us, “If you don’t like it, you can leave.” That is not customer service — that is contempt for paying guests. This place is unsanitary, misleading, and unsafe. Booking platforms should review this listing immediately. Travelers deserve to know the truth before wasting their money here. We ended up leaving and paying out of pocket to stay at another hotel, because the conditions here were unbearable. This place is unsanitary and misleading.

Ippokampos Beachfront was more than I expected it to be. First, the staff were amazing. Secondly, the breakfast included was a great perk and all the food was delicious. The drinks were spectacular. What I loved most about this resort was the proximity to the beach, and the location to downtown area. If I visit Naxos again, I will stay here!

The location is right on the beach front. The breakfast was very good and the staff were all friendly & professional.

The room allocated was a basement room. The outside space was small, dark and in need of a bit of decoration. Not sure if it’s just a case of pot luck in which room you are allocated, as there looks to be some very nice sea view rooms with balcony’s also.

Enjoyed stay, staff and experience but room service needs improvement.

Location next to beach and 10 minute walk into centre of town.

Room cleaning and maintenance. Second roll of toilet paper was never replaced, jug supplied but no tea, coffee, sugar, etc over the 5 day stay. No tea towel or hot water in kitchen to clean supplied dishes. Mould in and outside of shower on grout. Bed sheets were replaced over a stained, filthy mattress protector, complained and rectified immediately with a new one however it should never have been on the bed in the first place.
