Claudio and Lucia were the sweetest, and most thoughtful hosts, it’s obvious they care deeply about this stunning property. I can’t recommend it highly enough for a long term stay. They welcomed us personally, and gave us a comprehensive tour of all aspects of the 2 apartments, and the grounds. The apartments are exceptionally well appointed- anything you need, it’s there! All of the rooms and spaces were clean and stocked for our stay. Even during the heat wave, the thick walls, plus being built into the hillside, offered naturally cooling. The outdoor living spaces were equally beautiful and well equipped! The views are some of the best in Spoleto! Driving into town was a breeze, it only took 10 minutes to reach Posterna parking garage or the Tigre grocery store. We will be returning regularly!

As people who truly appreciate beautiful places and thoughtful design, we can honestly say that Casale Spoleto exceeded all of our expectations. Every detail of the property feels authentic and perfectly connected to the surrounding Umbrian landscape. It is one of those rare places where architecture, nature, history, and atmosphere come together in perfect harmony. The photos are beautiful, but the reality is even more impressive. If you are planning to stay here, we highly recommend having your own car. It gives you the freedom to explore the charming villages, breathtaking viewpoints, and hidden gems of Umbria while returning every evening to a peaceful and relaxing home. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the incredible hospitality of Claudio and his wife. One evening they sent us a message inviting us to the garden because they had baked a traditional Italian chocolate cake especially for us. It was such an unexpected and genuinely heartfelt gesture that it completely captured the warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality. Moments like these cannot be booked or planned. They simply become unforgettable memories. The house itself is absolutely wonderful. The panoramic views are breathtaking, the swimming pool was the perfect place to cool down during the hottest July afternoons, and every morning we woke up surrounded by silence, nature, and the beauty of the Umbrian countryside. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Claudio and your wonderful wife, for making us feel so welcome. You gave us much more than accommodation. You gave us an authentic Italian experience that we will remember for a very long time. We sincerely hope to return one day and would recommend Casale Spoleto to anyone looking for beauty, authenticity, and exceptional hospitality.

Claudio and Lucia are the kindest hosts. From a perfect equipped apartment to home-baked cake on our birthday, everything is arranged perfectly. The perfect stay as a couple a few years ago, but also now as a young family of 3.

Excellent house, the pool was a big bonus. Plenty of room in and out for our group of 8. Hosts Claudio and Lucia were super nice and helpful. Plus the mountain view was magnificent.
